Quinn is an elderly man who's grey hair and pale skin make him look far older than he actually is. Although he considers himself one of the common folk, his position as an advisor to the crown has brought him wealth and influence that most peasants could only dream of. He wears a fine coat, embroidered with golden thread and studded with jade. His shoes, which he's rather proud of are of the finest leather with beautifully hand crafted brass buckles.

Quinn is considered one of the most learned scholars of Altera and his advice is eagerly sought by the Nobility and peasants alike. He lives modestly, devoting his time to studying in his library and the worship of the God Harateth. He has been utterly loyal to the crown his entirely life and as such many of the Kings see Quinn as a fatherly figure, even though he is vastly younger than the immortals. He is regularly spotted drinking in various taverns with Nobility but feels most at home amongst the common folk, like himself.
The elderly scholar rarely seen without a book, even when walking the streets of his home city of Port Silver. He is well known and well liked in the city, many of the residents confiding in him their secrets whilst after advice and although he is a trustworthy fellow, if he feels it necessary he will inform the Crown of any illegal activity.
He has no family and avoids questions relating to his birth and upbringing, although this isn't down to a dark past, only his deep desire to keep some part of his life private.
