Summary:
Characters have a limited pool of ‘Glory’ that exist as a convention to influence the narrative in briefly remarkable ways. Spending them may represent a character digging deep to surpass their abilities, avoiding death by the skin of their teeth, or otherwise extraordinarily defying the odds.
It is namely used to reduce the severity of an incoming attack, and to represent the RP convention of getting a good fight that doesn't end on the first roll. As an example, it may be used to turn what the rolls would call a stab to the face into a narrow dodge and a rakish scar, but such remarkable luck won't last; each character has a total pool of 4 Glory, and each point spent returns 12 OOC hours after it is used.

Glory can be spent to:
- Reduce the severity of an incoming injury by one tier. i.e. from Lethal to Major. This applies before the injury is resolved IC, such that the canon injury taken is appropriate for the reduced severity. This can be done any number of times per attack.
- Roll a skill check with +1d10 per point of Glory spent. This must be declared before the roll is made, and may use up to 3 Glory per roll.
Commands:
/glory: Shows you how much glory you have, and what it can be used for
/glory spend (amount): Spend an amount of glory. This shows up to everyone nearby, and must be done in order to use any amount of Glory
You can see the amount of Glory another character has with "/character inspect" as long as you have playtest content enabled.
