Appearance - Old patched clothing, yet somewhat, decent looking. He has a soft and cozy smile and a calm look in his eyes, but his hands, worn and scarred from years of labor and bloodshed.

Jack was a young lad when he was first sold into slavery. His parents, unable to afford to keep him, and could care less for their own child, felt that selling him into labor camps would have made a better profit on their end, so he never really knew who his own family was. All that he knew, that his father and mother were poor folk, mere peasants that spent their days in the fields flinging muck around for just enough to scrape by in their lives, and rather spiteful people to begin with.

As Jack had grown, he was accustomed to the rather harsh ways the slave traders treated him, of course, by the age of thirteen, he pushed back at a slaver, throwing a fist, and making one of their noses bleed. He was given the nickname "Dragon" for the fire in his eyes and the rage he exerted when he was pushed too far. Unfortunately, after he had punched the slave driver, he was tied down and whipped for his insolence. But that did not stop him, for he continued to fight back every so often when pushed too far.

By the time he was twenty-two, he was sent into arenas, forced to fight other slaves. He refused at first, but as his opponents tried to bring him down to the brink, the fire rose back up within his eyes and he charged forth, claiming victory, and being dragged onward to his cell. He continued this for years, but found no comfort in what he was forced to do. His fists, wrapped and bandaged, his wounds poorly treated, but he carried on, because he knew he would take freedom back one day.

When he became the age of twenty-seven, he came to the conclusion that he would be stuck as a slave for the rest of his life, either working hard days in the fields and lumber camps just to make sure he would be kept alive, or in the fighting pits where he feared that if he lost, he would never see the light of day again. He planned, thought of his escape and freedom, he could feel it and smell it with each step of planning, tasting it like sweet golden honey. It was then, he finally formed his plan of gaining his freedom.

At twenty-eight, he saw his opprotunity. The slave guard captain was drunken again as usual, treating the older or weaker slaves like rubbish. Jack stood up, and challenged him. Of course, the Captain, feeling as if he was above those that he kept bound in chains, laughed and accepted his challenge thinking it would be nothing but another soul thrown to the winds. The Slaver Ring Leader, overheard this, and decided to make it a bit of an interesting challenge. If Jack were to defeat the Captain, he would gain his freedom, and even be offered to replace the Captain, his allegiance pledged eternally to the Slaver Ring Leader. But if the Captain had won, it would surely mean death for Jack. Without hesitation, Jack had accepted this offer.

As both the Captain and Jack were thrown into the pits, Jack took no time to wait. The fire raged within him once again, his cry of battle, as loud as the roar of the Dragon's call, and his eyes, dark and burning with pure hatred. He charged forth, taking advantage of the Captain's arrogance, and within one strike, he knocked the Captain down. Shortly afterwards, he took the Captain's sword, and ended his years of suffering with a final stab. Jack then stared up at the Slave Ring Leader, and turned away, declining the offer. "I have won my freedom, and with that, I will never take your side...". Jack ran off into the night, as the Ring Leader shouted out "As you wish then... The Free Dragon shall carry on, but someday, We will meet again!"

Jack now had his freedom in hand, and he has now turned to a man of peace, he refuses to raise his hand up against another person, and refuses to even step one foot in the arena, even if it's in the spectator stands. He feels as if his life is now his own, and he will live it as his own.
