Upcoming [Moderate] [Sep 9th - 6pm EST] The Gift of Empire

Another year passes, and once more the empire stirs as its emperor does. Unexpectedly, but inevitably, the emperor has returned from isolation. This time, to declare an impromptu day of celebration. All places of manufacture are to be closed, and the servants of great houses are permitted for a few hours to postpone their constant duties to retire in the city centers and rejoice.

The capital, Sanardu, is apparently to house the greatest of these celebrations, and the suddenness of it has rumors spreading through the empire of if this is to foretell some kind of important announcement or change in policy. These rumors are not acknowledged, but what is is the emperor's apparent intentions to give greatly and freely to all those who choose to attend from his personal collections. Strange times are these, when even the most miserly of the Fuvurians is feeling charitable.
