Unchaining the Forgotten [x]
Old tracks are traced to frozen depths, to a danger, a door, a secret. Runes painted with the blood of their fallen crewmate unlocks the gate to a bygone being's rest,
and the Apostles fall to the lull of the deep. They've found what they're looking for, and now they must free it.

Avalyn has lived on her uncle's ship since the age of ten, and has traveled around the continent all her life. After Ardaric's leave, she's moved from ship to ship, never staying on the mainland for too long. She refuses to pray to either Jax or Visage, and instead calls out to the Ocean itself when in need of guidance out on the seas.

Admiring the Deep [x]
The Apostles and some others venture out to a reef in hopes of spotting Skieels and other sea creatures, to appreciate the beauty of the Ocean.
On their trip they come to meet with Red-Fins, adding a side of danger to their voyage.
Shifts in the Undertow [x]
Below the surface, the Apostles come across a cavern, and a broken ship. The further they sink under the waves, the more they feel themselves change.
Maps and records are obtained, and new voyages planned.

Acts and events leading up to her faith in the Ocean.

A Lifetime [Origins]
All throughout her life, Avalyn has lived by the Ocean. Her childhood was spent by the docks of Linistel, on the shores of Palmwood, or aboard the Eventide or All-for-Naught.
Her time by the seaside has left her with a deeply rooted, honest reverence for the Ocean itself.
Family [Origins]
The Tidebornes have been tied to the Ocean for centuries. Sailing and seafaring is something Avalyn has grown up with, and her respect and love for the Ocean has partially been passed down from her family.
The stories of Laets and his connections to the Tidebornes affected Avalyn's thoughts on the Mantles at an early age, and have added to her motivations of freeing the Ocean.
Jax [Previous Faith]
Around the age of seven, Avalyn grew interested in Jax's faith through his connections with sailing and the Ocean, as well as through the influence of Eliss Cuttingthorne.
She found many of the god's themes enjoyable and comforting, but ultimately her main reason of interest was the Ocean.
As it became apparent that those of Visage were preparing to take over both Mantles, Avalyn felt there was a lack of action from those of Jax, and came to the conclusion they did not hold the same reverence towards the Ocean as she did. She abandoned the faith to focus on the Ocean, and to assure it would not go to the hands of those who held no respect for it,
only using it as a tool for power for another god.
Waterblessings [x]
Avalyn became unwillingly Waterblessed on a walk around Palmwood's shores, at the age of ten.
While hardly something she was proud of, the experience did offer her the chance to spend more time below the waves, allowing her to feel just a little closer to the Ocean than before.
Tumultuous Seas [x]

Her first experiences with spirits and large storms on the Ocean. Memories of death.
Only the brave sail the seas.
Glimmering Shores [x]
A hunt for treasures and trinkets, and a meeting with Crooners.
The Ocean is generous to those who dare search for treasure.

A series of events on the seas. Assisting other ships, finding ancient ruins, facing the Pale Beast, and climbing aboard a ghost ship.
Grand memories and haunting yet exhilarating experiences. Weeks spent on the vast blue.
The Ocean must be treated with due respect.

Searching for one of Life's fragments. Newfound creatures and experiences, lost memories. A fight of trust.
The seas are lawless.
