WE, the hardworking citizens of Eldpoint, say NO MORE to the tyranny and destructive force of the Altham reign. Our grievances are as follows:
1. The destruction of our cultures and traditions through the acceptance of non-elves into our guilds and institutions;
2. The destruction of our historically-structured society by diminishing the authority of merchants and nobles;
3. The pollution of our ruling chambers by bringing in human blood into decision-making;
4. The continual slashing of treasury allocation to the guilds and artisans, whilst hosting lavish parties and constructing grand palaces;
5. The failure to provide enough housing for our children, and failing to provide a safe community for them to be raised in;
6. Associating and negotiating with Ignites, those who openly persecuted our kind in the past; and
7. Failing to keep our people safe in the wake of tyranny and violence caused by humans in our city.
THEREFORE,
A group of those loyal to our people's ideals rose up this afternoon, and have re-established our people's traditional form of governance: council.
A new, reform council will be formed in the coming days, made of guild leaders, elders, and nobles of the Silver Elven blood.
The former Viscountess Aendritaur signed, in place of her father, the Count of Eldpoint, a notice of abdication, validating this change in governance.
Our trading partners will be contacted in the coming days; the lives of ordinary citizens will continue. The Eldpoint Palace will serve our people's ideals,
not the interests of a destructive ruling family that has no regard for our traditions and culture.
WE WILL PREVAIL.
ONWARD.
Eldpoint Reform Council.
