Body is now in Storms landing, head is in another disclosed location.Character Name: Victor Roichstead
Time since death: Just now
Cause of death: Knife to both the heart and throat
Condition of Corpse: Bloodied and bruised, simple stabs through his chest and neck
Location of Corpse: His home in Mockingbay
Previous Deaths (Recorded in the 'Sisterhood Records' thread): 1
Body was burned in a pyre just outside of town.Body is now in Storms landing, head is in another disclosed location.
Major damage was concentrated from the lower ribs to the tip of the head with specific focus to the chest and face. Anything within those regions would have been mutilated beyond recognition with partial dismemberment having occurred to a few well placed axe strikes to the shoulder region of both arms.Character Name: Storm Rose
Time since death: A few hours agao
Cause of death: Hacked to pieces by a bandit
Condition of Corpse: Head hacked open along with a few limbs I believe (wasn't really told much)
Location of Corpse: Stoltfar
Previous Deaths (Recorded in the 'Sisterhood Records' thread): 1

Sisterhood status is for a moderator to add.Character Name: Asmarious Adrian Ashmare
Time since death: Roughly 2-3 Ooc days.
Cause of death: Murdered by Ilirio, bled out from injury.
Condition of Corpse: Not that bad, I'd imagine as it was mostly smaller stabs and 1-2 gashes. Bled out due to strenuous activities.
Location of Corpse: In Storm's Landing
Previous Deaths (Recorded in the 'Sisterhood Records' thread): None
Sisters gawk at the state of Asmarious' mangled body, curious where to even start.
Status: Being worked on.
You pretty much starved yourself, as the body takes more energy to heal than it had stored up all at once.Cause of death: Overusage of Healing Potion on his wounds
Condition of Corpse: Completely intact, unsure how dying of Healing Potion Overdose(?) works.
100% right, and it's neat so I want to add a slight bit more of how this is written up.You pretty much starved yourself, as the body takes more energy to heal than it had stored up all at once.
Are all this stuff affected even if you use the potions for the Sorrows? For the curious, other possible overuse consequences, if you're looking for em. They are fairly intuitive.
Swiftness - Lactic Acidosis and Heart Attacks.
Water Breathing - Suffocation and Lung Collapse
Night Vision - Blindness
Leaping/Strength - Muscle Tearing, Lactic Acidosis
Fire Resistance - Skin Irritation and Rashes, Throat Irritation.
Invisibility - Transparent and more fragile skin, potential nervous system damage.
Clearly however, healing potions possess the most risks to use repeatedly, by design really, so people can't just keep using and moving on through plenty of injuries.
The alchemy stuff was pretty fun to write.
If you use these potions OOC, you're fine. These are the IC effects of the potions. Are all this stuff affected even if you use the potions for the Sorrows?
^ 100% right. If you use these potions OOC, you're fine. These are the IC effects of the potions.
^ 100% right.
This is also in the event that you are using them to gross excess, such as trying to stay permanently invisible for an entire day kind of thing, or repeatedly healing mortal wounds without taking time to rest in-between.
It's like medicine in real life. If you use a certain medicine and let the body naturally filter it out before the next use, then you'll be fine the next time you use it and it shouldn't overwhelm the body as a whole. At least, that's my understanding. So, using the same potion type with months of space between each dosage should be harmless.Just to clarify usage separated by several months has no negative consequences correct? For example having used a healing/regen potion 3 months ago OOC wouldn't effect you adversely now? There's not like 'each potion usage causes minute harm that is cumulative overtime' sort of deal is there?

Pretty much. Notably, however, and not that it really comes up in the course of gameplay, but if we were going /maximum/ realism, every time you were subject to a healing/regeneration effect you'd permanently increase your chance of developing cancer by a small amount. It's like medicine in real life. Guessing that has to be due to the fact you force the body to quickly produce cells that it naturally created slowly, thus increasing the risk of one of those cells being malignant or malformed. Just my hunch.Pretty much.
