All praise King Charles [@Rygan] , first of his name, Lord of The Haven and King over all lands touched by the Rising Sun's holy light. Come one and all to his Coronation in the sight of the one true God, Ignis Synnove, and all other gods true and false who grace our Holy Pantheon! All freemen who can pay for passage by ship or horse to the lands of Seahold are welcome to attend the Coronation, where there shall be a great feast to celebrate!
Noblemen of the realm, and any who can afford horse and lance, are welcome to joust in a great tournament for all the gods of the Pantheon. For the joust, the man who claims victory wins not only glory, respect, and the love of the people, but a chance to present themselves to King Charles and request one thing. If it his in his power and he it does not endanger his life or the life of another, he will grant it. In addition to this, the victor takes five thousand radiants as a prize.
[OOC - You can't request for more than 7500 Radiants from Charles, or for him to kill or majorly affect another character or himself.]
All men may win glory for themselves, their lord, or their god in the great melee, where weapons will be provided to any man who is willing to fight. For the melee, the man or woman who emerges on top will escape not only with five thousand radiants, but small land and titles for noblemen, or a knighthood for peasants.
For those who do not or cannot risk themselves in the blood sports of noblemen are welcome to join in the feast, which will be spread between the castle and the tournament fields for nobles and peasants respectively. The feast will have meats and vegetables fresh from the farms of Seahold, and a great boar roast fresh from the hunt. No toll will be taken - the feast is free for all who can arrive and are willing to share a meal and table with friends from across the Northern Kingdoms.

Note - The joust and the melee will not kill any characters intentionally, but tragic accidents might seriously injure you! Make sure you and your character know what you're getting into, even in the mock-combat of a melee, and understand that entering the violent sports is consent to IC injury!
