Played all of them, MTWII was by far my favourite although the original was very good for it's time too.

Yes indeed , why i've even been re-playing Empire and Napoleon Total War lately, such good games even though I remember how comically bug filled Empire was on its release.

I loved Medieval Total War II the most, I played it on LAN with friends

I loved making epic peasant armies and storming my enemy

I think this is the only game I actually enjoyed defending on, it was fun watching your archers tear the enemy to bits and trying to create bottlenecks with spearmen
