The surface of this moon is untouched, almost taking on a mirror-like appearance with a soft glow that is easier to notice in low lighting.
[Passive]: All unrestricted languages are legible to the attuned. They may not write in the language, but they can read the language and understand the intended meaning of the text. This does not work on codes, dead languages, etc. [Ability - Nomicon]: Two times a day the attuned is able to use their artifact to read dead or restricted languages for twenty minutes, including Infernal. At the attuned's choice, they may display the translation in a language they know for others to read, appearing as a faint shimmer of moonlight above the text. T1
Upon one of her regular excursions to the ruins of the Storm's Landing cathedral, she notices what appears to be a man sitting in one of the pews. Curiousity lures her nearer, for he seems entirely unfamiliar, and as she gets closer she can see he is reading a book, but the words themselves seem to move and change to the point she cannot understand them. Then, he closes the book and looks to her, black of hair and blue of eye, to offer her a smile that seems both genuine and not at the same time. Unnervingly, he compliments her on her latest journal entry, before he stands and turns, putting his back to her to depart. Then he looks back to her, face entirely different and with brown hair and green eyes instead. He says his farewells, but congratulates her on the 'beginning of her journey' before he leaves entirely. The moment he is out of sight she feels a shiver run down her spine that settles in her chest with a strange sort of power. Amelie is now T1 of Visage.
T2
Amelie finds herself pouring over her notes of Mok'yra, the words upon the paper providing a particular frustration this evening. As she looks away from the pages, toward the night sky, she feels a presence tug at her mind. She looks upward toward a half-moon, it's pale light washing gently over the landscape and seeping through the cracks of the ruin that once was the Grand Cathedral of the pantheon. The light seems to drip away from the scene, stars seemingly removed from the sky. All that remains in the half moon. With the darkness comes the sound of bare feet upon the stone, though at a glance it seems nobody is there. Her attention is slowly turned back to her notes before ink begins to scrawl upon the pages, words shifting, notes corrected. As the light slowly begins to return to the scene, Amelie feels a sense of achievement as she rises to T2
T3
On Amelie's next visit to Valencella, a peculiar fog seems to blanket the region. Walking through the town, windows and mirrors hold blurred reflections, the sound of layering whispered words heard when they are approached closer. Within a few hours, the region returns to the normalcy that would be expected of a summer's day, but a deepened connection can be felt all the same.
