i'm the wench if you're the cake ;)
I honestly don't know if I count.
You stop that!

Lathan and Leminth. There, ha.
get out

This might help with your hero search. (X)
I was going to link that, but decided against because not many of them were heroes persay.

Details are good, but I will look over the list.~
Okay, I'll elaborate on the others after Naelwyn.

Well, the thing about Victor is he is a huge nerd, so, people whom discovered this or that, is a hero in his eyes and etc, I'm not just looking for Knights or guys that killed a monster, for example.
He began as a simple blacksmith, and then delved into more magical tutelage. This is setting the foundation for what is to become a really incredible character.
For a very long time the character wasn't in the public eye - Although he did MUCH, from combatting the Sorrows to helping insane pyromancers to investigating trapped magical ruins to infiltrating bandit strongholds to wandering the Sorrows on his lonesome to accidentally falling into the Planar Infinity to creating an evil twin from his hand to defeating said evil twin, and so on and so forth.

Naelwyn Talreyn has famously served beside the Queen in the Final War, but before that he was the wizard-lord of the flying city Rota Magna and was present observing near every magical happening (thus leading to his infamous title "The Observer" Naelwyn was called by other wizards (karasu, legion, etc.) and non-wizards for a year or so).

He and a few others had something to do with a very secretive happening, the Order of the Blackened skull. I'm not going to elaborate on their missions because it was secret and you need to find out IC, but the basic gist is that these ~14 or so blackened skull folks ran around with Naelwyn in and out of the Nether a few times and then suddenly the moon exploded.
Then magic went away. Naelwyn Talreyn ended up being one of the few wizards who rediscovered it IC.

He set up some of the fighting with General Legion in the very beginning of the Final War, when everyone was still exodus'ing from the old world into the new. Naelwyn Talreyn helped people get through and did research on the Cube (that queen leminth managed to get after defeating the demon tavish post battle of the airdocks). Several things were discovered about the Grief Cube and subsequent Shard of Grief that helped further the war effort, and Naelwyn was basically R&D during the first few battles and setting up of war fortifications on the oldworld-side of the Exodus Portal.

Naelwyn brought information on the Immortal Kings and Gods.... problem.... (spoilers yet still), post-Final-War-Victory.

Then A Feast of Flames, Crash and Burn, The Perfect Storm, and Disruption began. The Elementals attacked! Naelwyn Talreyn was once again on the frontlines, informing people about the elementals and how to combat and/or talk with this new threat. He and others (General Legion amongst them) dismantled the potential giant earth-bomb in Havarda, protected Port Silver against the onslaught of Fire Elementals, negotiated with Shoreless Gulf (with others!) and helped facilitate exactly what might be going on with the hurricane elemental - the only element left untouched- the Sea of Storms. Before they could pick apart the last missing pieces of the Elemental's danger... Stirrings within the Divines began, and once more Naelwyn was heroically advising and on the front lines.

He informed some key knowledge about the Pantheon to those unawares, helped in the first three callings to the Divines. Naelwyn even in his infamous 'one hundred and eight divines and a bag a crisps' event (Which almost had a turnout of FIFTY people) set the stage with a hundred and one magical blades he himself forged in an effort to challenge the powers of Kilrox, the God of War. He instigated an all out war between the agents/powers of Kilrox, Valor, and Skeira. How it ended you'll have to find out IC.

He was there when the sword of Corruption struck into the very heart of Shalherana's temple. Naelwyn was there when the divine Hourglass in the corrupted cathedral ran out. He negotiated with Jax and discovered the powers of Silas with Vorar during a search into She Who Was Beyond Names. When the Corrupted began to grow in numbers, Naelwyn Talreyn invited them to a picnic.

The man personally de-corrupted a quarter of the Corrupted heroes, who were infected with the evil of who-knows-what-no-one-really-ever-found-out.

Naelwyn Talreyn lead the charge to gather materials in the defense of Port Silver, he organized forces against the Corruption, he managed to get people to the old Cathedral of Harateth on ancient Arcturus lands. He distributed Divine Artifacts to combat the powers of what divine attention was causing this havoc. He gave speeches in the Crossroads and gave advice from his simple Inn of Vigils Rest. He's forged countless magical items and informed countless people of magical properties. Naelwyn Talreyn has also lead research parties into numerous danger - and as a personal ethos has sacrificed twice important factors to make sure everyone got out alive.

He helped solve the mysteries of the Jishrim Curse (the first one and the second one, but not the third).

Thats just the public stuff, of course. The character undoubtedly has more tales to tell if you ever go RP with him.

And then he kinda retired and I don't think anyone gave it much mind. Naelwyn just hangs out in Vigils Rest now, iirc, working in his forge and tending to his Inn.

Just lemme know if I should extrapolate on any of:

King Draco of Lonmar held the silver crown for a bit, albeit abdicated. dracoboy2 Faelin Spark Tomahawk777
King Draco reigned over the House of Lonmar for a very, very long time. He lead his northern people from Stormhold and to victory in the Game of Crowns, securing the Silver Crown and Throne. He courted and I believe eventually married a Sister of Shalherana, while leading on the frontlines of War against the other nations. Involved in countless political and bloody machinations against and with the likes of House Hawklight, House Saeradan, House Yearnen, newcomer House Arduin, newcomer House Arcturus, and countless other little factions in the Game of Crowns it was surely an IC struggle to come out atop. For unknown reasons the King abdicated the throne, likely to pursue something more significant.

Unfortunately you'll have to ask those guys for more.

Just lemme know if I should extrapolate on any of:
The Arbiter Albareth maybe, if thats your roll? Fought the darkbloods and evil grief-minions with the holy Inquisition MRPolo13
Albareth, the son of the former Inquisitor-Lord Polo, rose to Arbiter and I first got to see the character in action when he came to the silver Palace with a force of Inquisitors to try and arrest Naelwyn (the current butler of the silver palace) for crimes against the divine. Something to do with a moon and goddess of magic.

His heroic tale is mostly fights against the Corruption through the darkbloods (grief-opposites of the spiritblessed, basically. The... shit, this is going to be long...

..... I was just about to extrapolate a paragraph or more on EVERYONE on that list and realized that doesn't even come close to nearing the scope of how many people I havn't yet mentioned. I'll just write on whats requested, since its... well, its a lot.

Leminth and Lathan. We'll start with the easy one. ye, Paint ?

He's not much of a hero, more like a villan really, ok, definitely a villan: Deadpress, Bandit King. A long dead legend, he and his crew praised the Grey Lady and killed and stole from people. They all lived in a big ol; city named Protaras, which is also lost to history.

http://hollowworld.co.uk/threads/deadpress.10443/
Oh man DONT get me started- from the Bandit Queen and her hidden southern-forest village, to the attacks by the corruption-phoenix on Protaras... Something about the first Golden Crusade is probably relevant there, too, but he definitely wasn't much a hero xD

Archaeus Fronte fought an unarmed Halfling and lost, once.
In addition to this, the old Queen's Wench came about in the Northern Kingdoms a long, long time ago, even before the world our people come from had to be abandoned. He was a symbol of loyalty for those who knew him, standing by his pledge to Queen Leminth even after her untimely demise. While the matter of his heroism during the End of Days Campaign could be called into question, not many are out there who can deny him his loyalty to the protection of the people of Altera. Whether it be during the Siege of Moonguard, the Battles of Port Silver or Mirage or the fields before the Castle of Doom, or even his engagements in Arduin's Forests and communication with the lieutenants of Grief themselves, he was always at the head of the fight as a frontlinesman for her Majesty and Altera. This may not come across as above and beyond to some, but for those who know the full story, it was. He was, towards the beginning of the Exodus, stripped of his humanity by Queen Leminth due to his insubordination under Generals Arthorius and Grimar, men which he did not see eye to eye with by any means. In his insubordination, he left the warcamp without permission in a scouting run to the Arduin Wood where he met with Fury and Slaughter face to face. Instead of breaking during his entrapment, he was able to negotiate his own release and outwit Fury's riddles and attempts to throw him into the Void where he surely would have been lost.

He wore a disguise after having been removed of citizenship by Leminth, even still fighting for the people of Altera despite having been commanded directly not to, and to depart and hide out the rest of his life. Through the help of Audric, an old... frienemy, and Melanie Brom'krah, his sister in law and wife of the General Kharn Sicarus, he was able to maintain his disguise until the final battles. Before he was revealed to the armies as the fugitive Archaeus Fronte, he squared off against Tavish, Grief's right hand, alongside Gelyk Varyn and Scardrac Dormus successfully, nearly killing the demon and expelling it back to Hell; he single-handedly held the line when abandoned by a retreating Alteran Army in the city of Mirage, destroying one dimensional gate that flooded the city with hellspawn and fighting through hordes of undead to escape and make his way back to the warcamp and Port Silver.

After victory over Queen Grief through aide of the General Legion and Naelwyn Talreyn mentioned afore, he was granted his humanity back due to his unwavering loyalty and duty for Altera; being placed in the charge of Queen Leminth until her unfortunate death soon after the war ended. He was the Queen's direct servant and emissary in some cases, taking on the role more of a knight in her service than a diplomat or slave. His loyalty is what earned him the nickname of Queen's Wench, and to this day, he still receives it in pride.

Though it is uncertain what happened to Lord Fronte after the war ended and Leminth passed away, what is known is that he rose back again into the public eye when Harateth turned on the denizens of the world and brought Corruption back to the land. Standing firmly with those of the Silver Serpent now, an organization now only known in myth by any who were not witnesses of their actions, he worked to ensure that Harateth did not bring about the end of the world he had already fought so hard to defend. It was in these days that he first actively worked with individuals that would become his closest allies for all of his future, Tzemik Kevasn and Naelwyn Talreyn, despite having known about them since the End of Days campaign.

When Gelyk Varyn struck down the corrupted God, Archaeus was right there at his side to help the giant man keep himself upright and make his way away from the battlegrounds. After these campaigns, Archaeus's presence in the public realm was off and on, usually rare. Political events transpired over the course of the few centuries more that he lasted, varying him between the roles of King and General and Fugitive once more, but the legendary Knight was eventually struck down for the final time brutally in a duel against Garen Dormus, the son of the man he had once named among his greatest allies, Gelyk. His lover, which Tzemik had grown to become, was distraught, as can be expected, and it took both the enormous living automaton Vorar Elem-Polvur and the aforementioned Naelwyn Talreyn to hold her back from those present.

Archaeus Fronte's body was never claimed after Tzemik had prepared it for funeral, and he was never given a funeral service. Modern day, Archaeus rests in an unmarked grave near Vigils' Rest.
