Crabs can be found in blocks that usually are underwater in Minecraft
Frogs can be found on the water
Parrots usually lives in trees that are in a very specific environment.
The blue bird can be found in a tree where there isn't any other bird living so far.
And the vase... Think where you can find another vase already.

Frogs = lillypad
Crabs = Clay
Red Bird = Oak leaves
Normal Bird = Birch leaves
Blue Bird = Spruce
(just an overview after the hints ptiber gave)

My guess is that the parrot comes from jungle trees, but the seagull comes from that one already. I'll give it a go and let you know if I find anything out!

Parrots do indeed come from jungle trees.
