We're now a couple episodes into the anime season, and I'd like to give a quick update on the three shows I previously mentioned:

Drifters

So far, Drifters is exactly as advertised, quite literally, seeing as the OVA was simply the first two episodes of the show. There are some scenes not in the OVA, so don't skip the first two episodes entirely, though! All in all, this looks to be a great action anime between heroes and villains of history!


Shuumatsu no Izetta

Nazis, a Princess, and a Magical Girl. Do you need anything else?
In all seriousness, this show is not a total conglomeration of tropes. The characters, so far, are well formed, and the show has impressed me with its attention to details! This is a very enjoyable show that I'd currently recommend to most anime fans!


Mahou Shoujo Ikuset Keikaku

Fasten your seatbelt; this one is going to be a ride.
If you liked Madoka Magica, this is a show you need to be paying attention to. The stage has been set, and this looks to be an awesome magical girl thriller!
I do advise that you perhaps wait until the show has finished, however; I expect many people will want to marathon this show.

It's named Yuri on ice as a joke and because the two main ice skaters are named Yuri. I guess it could be Yuris on Ice..
The theme song is really catchy though, had a whole club dancing to it a couple weeks ago, that was fun.
But yaoi on ice is a better name, and it's what my Uni's Anime Society calls it. They do a few jokes like that, per say Cabbano instead of Baccano because the middle is at the start and the start is at the middle in terms of a messed up confusing timeline.

Victor's ass in that episode can turn lesbians for sure. XD
But seriously, the closest thing to actual Yuri this season would be Keijo or Izetta and that's not much, maybe a bit in Brave Witches I suppose, and we can always ship Reina and Kumiko in Hibike Eupho.

Not really an Ars Nova fan either I prefer the Manga where certain characters such as Yamato aren't trivialized or characters like Kotono aka

The Manga also has Characters like Lexington(CV 3) New Jersey and others. Also an entire freaking human submarine has been cut out >> (A rather big one even)
