This is a leak spoiler and they have been 100% correct so far.Cersei has green eyes...
Arya has only the green eyes left as part of her prophecy.
Hollywood will cope out and make Jon the King.
Don’t tell me if you’re serious or not, but I genuinely would laugh if that was true. This is a leak spoiler and they have been 100% correct so far.
They elect Bran.
It's terrible writing that Jaime went from shit to good and then snapped out of it and went back to shit.Yesterday’s ep was the best in the season imo, but it’s worsened by the context of all the episodes preceding it. I’ve been knocking D&D for years (since they’re bad writers) so none of this has been a surprise.
Jaime’s plot armour throughout this season and the last was just so we could get a “satisfying ending”, unless he somehow survived the cementening. The concept of ignoring his mistakes or screw-ups just so we can squeeze out a few more character moments is nonsensical—and this applies to multiple characters including everyone that went on the wight trip last season.
Benioff & Weiss were so excited about the Red Wedding and have cited it as the reason they wanted to do the show, but they obviously liked it for dissonant reasons when you compare their love of ‘shock factor’ to fans’ enjoyment of the narrative and risk.
arya still sucks
In the BTS Benioff said something along the lines of it not “feeling right” for Jon to be the hero of the long night. They probably felt the same about Arya. Also, they dropped the ball on how Jon could've killed the night king and arya could've had her kill with cersei which would be so poetic
The Dany stuff would be good if they didn't stuff the season into 6 episodes (even though they are long they mostly cover the same stuff a 60 minute episode would) so her turning mad feels like she just flips a switch, where as they could have explored it in more, making it seem as though she's slowly but surely turning mad with no way to stop it. One could argue that her being a bitch for a season or so was this, but her going from liberate the people to murder them all was too fast.In the BTS Benioff said something along the lines of it not “feeling right” for Jon to be the hero of the long night. I think Dany going full-on mad works, but it is entirely disjointed from the rest of the season. Her killing a portion of the ‘main characters’ is fine by me.
The main cast have given intermittent negative reviews of the season themselves and that doesn’t sound like a positive sign for the ending.
I don’t think they implicitly needed longer episodes, the problem is more that they had plenty of time to build to this point last season and the one before if they were really insistent that it had to happen at this time. However, it’s horribly paced because the showrunners couldn’t plan ahead. Dany goes from point A to point B to point Z and skips so many moments that would have made this make sense. Even that goes against what's been shoved down most people's throats so far, as far as story elements go. She's been made out to be this leader who puts her people first and while she had violent or stupid tendencies sometimes; she'd see reason and usually take the better path. All that got thrown out in one episode over someone close to her dying. The episode was pure shock value, without the necessary or proper build-up to make it feel like anything more than in my opinion, a waste of money on so many parts of that scene that could've been avoided.I would have been fine with it had she burned the Red Keep.
Yes, casualties, but it could have been justifiable as "Cersei had to die, the casualties were worth it to root out evil".
Purposefully torching innocents...nope.

Now, considering there's only one episode left- we're probably going to get a hilariously anti-climactic ending to the whole series that has to take place in the span of an hour and a half. It could be done, but I doubt it based off how they've used the time they've had so far.
Is that the actual, leaked thing?A trial.
The arc of her going this way has been clear and foreshadowed for a while now. I think it really started when she burned the Tarley's. Without Jorah to reign her in and give her counsel, without Missandei to remind her of empathy, without her willingness to listen to Tyrion, without Varys's care for the common man, and with the loss of one of her dragons, it was bound to happen. My problem wasn't that it happened, but moreso the pacing and it was just like flipping a switch. 0-60 real quick.Even that goes against what's been shoved down most people's throats so far, as far as story elements go. Stop leaking things shao it's bothering meA trial.
Jon has always been irrational, though. That's the main reason he got killed way back in season 5 or whenever. Tyrion, Jaime, and Dany were all done terribly. Tyrion sells out his main-man, even though they've been building up stuff with Varys for so long. Jaime finally had a proper story conclusion, but they threw that away for ended up happening in the episode which was just...awful.The arc of her going this way has been clear and foreshadowed for a while now. A lot of character's seem to abandon all logic this season and that's frustrating. Especially with Tyion. Sansa said it well. "I used to think you were the cleverest man." But Tyrion, Dany, John, and Jamie seem to lose all logical forethought and act irrationally and out of the bounds of their character.
