I lived as a slave in Zul'Drak, an extraordinary wealthy castle once owned by Silver Elves. Until it was raided by an army of Dwarves that silently invaded the castle through the sewer systems. I was 14 then. We were taken by surprise. I hid in the dungeon while I listened to all my families and friends screams as they echoed around me. I waited for hours then, when I thought the coast was clear I made break for it only to discover a guard through the exit. I was flogged til they thought I earned my lesson. Through the two years i was there i was assigned the hardest and worst jobs. While doing one of them however, (I was building a box of supplies for the Dwarves to trade for gold) I snatched a screwdriver. I had tried to escape once while bringing water to the horses. I learned my lesson that day by another good flogging. But i was planning to try again. When i went to the bathroom later that day I soon realized it was the wrong one. I used this opportunity to steal a bobby pin, completely ignoring the screams around me. But I knew someday I would get the chance to escape this wretched place with it. And that day came a month later when the queen of the Silver Elves came back to bargain for the gold that was rightfully theirs. Everyone in the castle came to the banquet. Everyone, except me. I was locked away in my cell for they knew that if the queen saw me another silver elf she would get very suspicious. So, that night I used the bobby pin and screwdriver to pick the lock on my cell, (It took FOREVER and i can't remember how to to it to this day) and the stables and came to role-playing village where I hope I will be accepted.
Current Setting of the Server:
The Undead have begun to swarm from the southern part of the Northern Kingdoms upwards, as the protection that once held them at bay was now broken. Distraught and pressured to leave their homes, many villagers and towns have had to evacuate quickly. A few have fought back. And a few still remain in the north..
What hope is there..?
Lands.. New lands across the Eastern Sea! There is hope.. People swarm north, to Heavens Reach, in hopes of waiting for the final fleet to leave. Will you join them? {Here}

About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
- Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
- Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
- Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
- Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
- Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
- Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.
