The Circle of Metallurgy and Material Sciences seeks to uncover the secrets of the materials that make up the world to harness their properties for the good of the realm.
Whether this is harnessing the raw thermal potential of Irzis Fyr to power mills, or unlocking the secrets of silver and its interactions with the cognitive realm.

The Circle wishes to produce inventions or new materials that can be accessed by all for the good of all and any.

Study of Prosthetics and Biomechanics: Long have limbs lost to wounds or amputation been left to the formists and the blessed of Shalherana to fix. Other options should be made available. This project will involve designing a viable and reliable method of making metal prosthetics. Thoughts will be made on how the prosthetics can be made better or just as useful as a typical arm. Project Lead: Cael Mithtanil Approved by Auditor Nwalme 21st of Snowdown 2309.​

Study of Buoyancy Articles: A dive into the potential creation of clothing or armor that is positively buoyant, and can aid sailors to stay afloat in areas of deep water. Hypothesis: With the correct material, one can create a device or article of clothing or armor that can aid in one's ability to stay afloat in the ocean or in deep lakes or rivers. Materials of Interest: + Birdwood, particularly that which has been arcanically treated, as it has known to be exceedingly capable for buoyancy. + Mirrorwood for its clothlike qualities. + Earkstone for its strength and known properties of buoyancy.
