Build: Built from years of labor and toil. Hulking frame disregards such aesthetic features as chiseled abs, instead favoring huge slabs of muscle designed for function rather than appearance. Full-on Bearmode.
Hair: Head is clean-shaven around a short 'hawk. Bears a modest beard, and eyebrows once described as "fierce."

-Armor is extremely heavy, and angled to deflect blows despite brute volume of plates.
-Sleeves are augmented. In additional to general up-armoring:
>Left arm covered by additional plates. Angled to deflect projectiles, and thick enough to deter melee attacks.
>Rerebraces feature downward-facing spikes, akin to heads of picks. Used for additional damage on elbow-strikes, armor piercing.
>Vambraces feature upward-facing spikes, of the same make and purpose.
-Gambeson features chain-mail patches sewn in to joints and other areas left vulnerable relative to the standard set by absurdly thick plate. Chain-mail itself is incredibly sturdy, willed into shape through power granted by the corruption. As such, it bears none of the weak points created through conventional crafting.

Strengths: Jaret's focus in many walks of life is control. Dominance as a leader, precision in craft, and absolute ownership over the application of strength. More terrifying than the great maul swinging be when a miss is not allowed to continue through, cannon's worth of kinetic energy halting dead in the air.
Strength in and of itself is the second aspect of Jaret's formidable demeanor. Physically shaped, honed, and crafted to an extreme degree, his hulking frame stands a testament to the might of the Dwarves. Where others may prefer finesse, Jaret plows through with brute, unadulterated force.
Combat aptitude: At the top of his game in the use of crossbows, his great maul, and close quarters combat. In terms of aptitude, most deadly at extreme close-range, where knives, fists, and spiked armor make a mess of things. In term of raw damage, naught living of this realm can stand before a swing of his hammer.

Personality:
Personality is overshadowed by the overwhelming responsibility that his position entails. Above all else the King of the Dwarves must be unshakable of conviction, confidence. Its existence strives to be as he who is revered by Dwarves, as un-moving and everlasting as the mountains. To this end, the mindset of the King of the Dwarves is one constantly calculating the reinforcements to his strength that his actions bring.
Moreso, the existence of the King of the Dwarves strives to be one of absolute strength, defined not by ability to destroy all before him but to outlast all that strike against him. Thus, the position carries with it an air of superiority, with which the diminutive Dwarf considers his existence to be above the common rabble. This results in an apparent emotional stagnation born of the belief that the social standing or prowess of most are utterly insignificant to his existence. To be acknowledged as being strong enough to warrant such emotions as love or hate requires an extraordinary impression.
This isn't to say that Jaret himself is without personality. He is a kindly soul, preferring to find strength his friends and enjoying the simple joys of crafting. Compassion, humility are no strangers to him, producing a Dwarf generally less quick to anger than his kin.
Contradictory to his easygoing nature, Jaret is profoundly violent. Physical solutions are those that come easiest to him, and despite himself he often finds them to be the most conclusive. This is not necessarily to say that he consciously prefers aggression; To the contrary, his loadout of heavy armor and fighting style convey a preference for defense. King's LamentWith war the Dwarf met as did duty demand
Bright eye looking on in defense of his land
The gleam it did dull with the weight of those slain
List of foes dead not a badge but a chain
Death's rictus a question; "For what do you stand?"
As mountains he stood, as faith did decree
For a King does not yield, does not bend the knee
Through the tests he stood tall, or as tall as is found
Through trial and error did his burden compound
As unmoving as mountains, as callous the sea.
For what did he stand if not God and for kin?
The answer was met 'midst the clash and the din
To kin he did serve and to God he did pray
Yet for himself he did stand at the fall of the day
No solace to find from the accusations therein.
Such knowledge was met with the tools of the past
"Be as the mountain; Stand firm, stand fast"
The knee did not bend, his path to duty was bound
No course forward but to follow the crown
Alone as the Mountain, the Dwarf he would last.
