Some games I play include FFXIV and various roguelikes and rhythm games. I've been referred by a friend of mine who thinks I'd be a good fit and it seems very interesting. I'm new to formal RP settings like this so please be a little patient with me while I learn the ropes. Referral: Nexus (she told me to say I found a poster on the ground.) ________________________________________ {Character Section} Character Name: Lovim Rockbuster Age: 25 Race: Dwarf Appearance: Hair: An abundant bushy brown beard, brown hair that is long and flowing, ending in slight curls. Eyes: A very standard set of brown eyes. Skin: An olive tan that gets darker in the summer and lighter in the winter. Physical description: Has the heavy build of a dwarf, muscular and squat, but has a very kind face, like you could have a drink with him. Written Test (Min: 400 words): Lovim Rockbuster remembered spending his childhood learning, and reading of his family's long and ancient history as Smiths, and Ornamentalists, he had a desire to add to this legacy, by mastering the forge and selling his wares across Altera, bringing many radiants, and much fame to the Rockbuster name. Lovim himself has decided he wished to dedicate his skills to the forge long ago, and yet while he was well-read on the topic, he had yet to pick up a hammer for himself, outside of fundamental practice he had gone over with his father, and grandfather as a child. Reminiscing upon the words he had with his father, Lovim understood what the next step in his road to forgemaster would entail, he was to leave his ancestral home in the mountains and set out and become an apprentice, in order to hone his skills. Whilst his family, a subsidiary of the Deepforgers clan, had made a reputable name for themselves amongst his ancestral home, they were never quite famous enough to make a well-known name for themselves. Lovim had wanted to change that. He wanted the family name to be a shining beacon of renown and fame in Altera. By Korog, he would have it so that people would come from across the world in order to have a chance to purchase Rockbuster goods. With a growling in his stomach, Lovim snaps back to reality. When was the last time he had sat down and had a meal? By The Divine, did he even have enough radiants for a meal? He would have to check his pack and see. Shuffling past the waterskins and hammers of various sizes, he couldn't help but notice his purse was not in the bag. This is when the crushing realization set in. He hadn't brought his purse. What sort of fool would leave home and notice he hadn't brought his purse for miles!?! "Calm yourself Lovim" he had said to himself, there would be plenty of chances to make some spare radiants. For now, he would just have to carry on walking, perhaps find a rabbit, or maybe an edible mushroom. The crushing sensation had only deepened with this thought. He didn't even like rabbit, not enough meat for the trouble they took to catch. He would simply have to find some way to make some radiants in town. Given his skillset it couldn't be that hard to smith up a skullcap or two to sell to someone, right?
