The world won't end this or next year. It will end by the dying sun and we'll have to wait for that a little while. Other than the dying sun theory, the planet could be hit by a huge comet, what probably won't happen. If that happens, there is a chance that humanity will die, but other species and plants will survive it. That way life can evolve and next thing you know the earth is ruled by huge insects. Sounds fun to me, right?
