University of Altera - Questions Thread

There will be a tuition fee, and three ways for students to enter the University. Sponsorship by a House or winning the Silver Scholarship from the Silver Council are the easiest ways, as by that means the House or Council will be covering the costs of the University. Students can also pay their own tuition, since it's not actually that expensive.

Yet to be determined. More students - lower fees, but expect something in the range of 500-2000 per class. Teachers will be the ones receiving the money, as well as it going into an administrative fund for use in improving the University, e.g. making actual material purchases and the like from people or towns.

Judging from what I've read so far, it looks like just about any teacher can join in when they feel like it, is this true?
And if it is true, alongside the students paying the teachers rather than the university, does this mean that the teachers can set the fees themselves?

I haven't said anything about teachers joining, so no, it's not true.

Students will be paying the university and teachers will be paid from the administrative fund.

To be decided depending on the value of the subject and the scheme by which the money is paid.
