To piggy back shortly off that- what's up with people acting so casual around GODS? They don't just crop up every day. I find it a little odd how casual some reactions were.

To be fair, Silas works hard to retain a normal, casual approach with his peers. He insists he remains humble, and as a previous sorrow demon, worked hard to become a "mortal" among mortals.

People with Jishrim, on the other hand, can be absurd. Extremely tall shadow creature who is known to have the power to overcome other gods? Just because you worship him doesn't mean you can act completely fearless. Especially if you're a child.

Gods appear so often that it makes complete sense to not be astounded by the presence of one. However, i believe it should be treated like a bear in your local zoo. It is fine to look at it, and marvel over it, but you don't go up jumping into the display with the thing.

I think people were far too quick to try and touch and mother the child god. That think just spawned from a shadowy chaotic god and another god basically absorbing eachother. The god of chaos, y'know the one people are always saying is so evil and stuff. Yet when it turns into a little child, all of it's previous actions are forgotten? It could have been a trap, which wouldn't have been surprising since it's Jishrim's "spawn". I was really hoping it was just going to obliterate everyone who was huddling round it. But instead it was like "oooo shiny, I want, make me special snowflake parent of the child god!". The event itself was great, but people's reactions....Not so much.

In my opinion.

It felt like a zombie horde inching on us when Lavoyard finally managed to put down that shield wall to make everyone /not/ touch it. Then it hopped off and everyone was able to touch it and now we have a problem~
