Aellana has disappeared along with her child.
The only clue to her whereabouts being that she told John she was 'headed up north for awhile'.
@ACU20 Robert would find a letter in his room with many papers detailing her /permanent/ resignation as mayor of Queen's Port.
She would have been last seen leaving Queen's Port with /two/ children.

As I said she only told John she was headed north. She didn't even tell Robert she was leaving she just left him with the paper work to HIS town and vanished.
