"I regret to inform the people of Altera that the mage formerly known as Elias, last living student of Legion Draiden, was slain last night the 12th, in the month of Godsend in the year of Lightshine. The assassin escaped custody and we have no known suspects at this time though the Silver Guard is still investigating. There is a reward of 1000 radiants for the confirmed identity of the assassin.
Any information can be given be brought to Guard Captain Neal Coterel in the Arget Isles who is leading this investigation.
The Mage Elias was cremated in accordance with his final wishes in a private ceremony in an undisclosed location. His belongings, with the exception of those stolen during his murder, as a resident of the Isle with no next of kin were repossessed for the Isle and will be used to help further the Isles knowledge so that something good may come from this loss. Given this loss the before planned expedition to the fourth bastion has been cancelled."
