WHEN | July 2nd @ 11am PST / 2pm EDT / 7pm BST
WHERE | Forthyr's Rock (Spawn -> Eldpoint Cart (behind) -> Grey Cart)
RATING | Moderate, Public
Adapted from Suhkoiza's rules found [here].
[ APPROACH ]
When riding at each other, both competitors will roll Body+Handling and Body+Melee. The total number of successes are combined.
Focus (in Melee) should only be applied if your character has a focus in spears / lances. The most successes win. A tie results in a deflection of
both strikes.
[ AFTERMATH ]
The loser of the initial roll has been struck, and must now roll a d20. The outcome of this die should be used as guidance for injuries taken, but
characters may react in a way they think best suitable for their character. Use your judgement, here.
20 | The hit entirely bounces off your armor due to sufficient maneuvering. The round is now deemed a draw.
17-19 | You are only staggered. The hit was minimal. This may leave a bruise, this may leave nothing.
10-16 | You are dazed. The strike was powerful. Bruises are likely, breath may be taken, this will leave a mark. A piece of your armor may be dented.
5-9 | You are stunned. You may drop your lance, your lance may shatter, a significant bruise will be left, a piece of your armor may be flung off.
1-5 | You are dismounted. Bones may fracture, concussions may result, breath knocked out, this really really hurts.
