As far as I know for the lore, cannibalism and blood-drinking are normal in Moor-Elven societies though?

That stuff was actually added on after the fact -

It was never in the vision of making the moor elves a 'Stupid-evil' race by default, and the sections that speak heavily of those aspects have been snipped.

They are not all like that by default.
