5. In your own words, how would you define metagaming and powergaming?
(It is important to understand what these terms are and why they are bannable offenses in any roleplaying community.)
Meta gaming is using OOC obtained knowledge ic to either help or benefit oneself or another.
Ex: Using the meta map to see where an event maybe happening so you can make an excuse to go to that region or to find someone you want to have some sort of confrontation with.
Powergaming is when you either give yourself abilities that are really not possible for you character(aka god modding) to make the unhurtable or some such. Or when you emote so that the other player can not even emote as they would possibly do as you took the opportunity from them.
Ex: Shellie walked to Jack and slapped him hard across the face and blackened his eye.
Jack had no chance to respond a better way to have worded it would be:
Shellie walked up to Jack in an attempt to slap his face and blacken his eye.
They are bannabled as the ruin rp immersion and disrupt the way others would rp their characters. Ruining rp for everyone but them
6. Do we allow X-Raying mods or X-Ray texture packs on the server?

I am StarWillow2000 aka Firebird or Firebirds_child. I love DnD and pathfinder and have played it for a very long time. Way before I ever even thought of Minecraft. I also have played magic the gathering for a long time and then cards against humanity and more recently Munchins. I moved about a year ago from pennsylvania to Texas. Going from a very rural, low populated area to Houston with over 2 million people. I love animals and we have 2 dogs, a cat and a bearded lizard. I also like drawing to an extent.

I was referred when I first joined in 2014. I am a returning player.
About Your Character!
This section is about the character you intend to use once you join the server.We ask that new players follow these guidelines during this portion of the application:
Characters begin with basic skills and gear. No advanced armor or weaponry. Skills and abilities are appropriate to a novice level. Skills should be learned through roleplay, not through backstory.
Characters fit the lore. If you choose to play as a Moor Elf, for example, we expect appearance and details to be fitting with base lore.
Characters cannot use magic in any way. The test itself should not mention magic either. HollowWorld uses a restricted magic system and it is only accessible to those who find and learn from a teacher in-game.
Tests should not be violent. No murder, killing, death, torture. In the past, 8 out of 10 applications featured characters fighting off bandits or slaying passersby. We don't want to see how well you can script a fight scene. We want to see how well you can tell a story, how well you can roleplay.
Be creative and be original. Do not use tests/characters whose home villages were burned, parents murdered, and then set off to be an orphan assassin. It has been done before. Please don't do it again.
Written portion of the test is required to be a 400 word minimum. If the test doesn't meet the minimum, Staff may ask you to extend the test before the application is considered.

Appearance:
(We just want to make sure things like hair color, eye color, skin color, and clothing is all fitting for the setting/lore we have.)
She has brownish hair with light hints of golden brown, her eyes are a blue. Her clothing is a green linen with bluish trim and a under lacing of a bluish green color. Her corset it a bluish green as well. Since halfling she has a little hair on her cute barefeet.

Jessamine was born in a small caravan of halflings who traveled far and wide across the land. This caravan consisted of beautifully covered small wagons as homes for the many halflings within. A night they would make camp and the women would start cooking the meals as the men would go into the towns or fields to bring back more food or supplies for the caravan. Life was simple and sweet growing up.
The Caravaners would enjoy going into towns and doing little performance for the big folk. Some would sing others dance, a few even picked a few pockets.No one ever seemed any the wiser and the coin bought food and drink for all in the caravan. The children even got to enjoy the singing and dancing. Growing up always moving and studying what you needed made life simple and pleasant.
As she got older Jessamine would have one of the softest most true singing voices in her caravan. Her mother ould encourage her to sing songs every evening and she loved singing lullabies for her siblings and the other babies in the camp. Her mother would say how she could probably even charm the most stubborn of babies to sleep in very little time as if they knew her voice meant comfort. To her though singing was but her way of relaxing and she knew others enjoyed it so she was not shy with her kin but when the big folk was around she was shy, more timid. Over time however this faded and she enjoyed bringing music to whoever would like to hear.
At the age of 16 however she got to speaking with her family and decided she wanted to go out on her own quest for adventure, to find herself so to speak. To find her own niche, her own place and way to fit in. This is her story now.. Her life as she sees fit to make it, friends to make, lands to explore and new people and friends to make. She now heads of alone, somewhat nervous but excited as well. She celebrated her 17th birthday as she left her old life behind. Jessamine Noakes is now free and learning the true meaning of life. Ill Jax’s favor her or turn his back on her. Only time can tell. Jessamine A young Halfling of 3’4 and 42 pounds, her eyes the color of a soft spring sky and her voice soft and gentle, she sets off alone to be who her destiny wishes her to be.
Current Setting of the Server:
As the last galleys pull into port from the Northern Kingdoms, so too do they mark the end of the Exodus. A dark and desperate chapter in Altera's history.
The undead swarms had battered us, and the Sea of Storms had bruised us, yet here we were, alive. Alive in a brave new frontier to the east, and the flickering embers of our dying lands were now kindling the fires of new civilization, in a land of opportunity, vast and boundless.
Now, for the first time in a long time, there is hope. Hope of a new chapter, a new beginning and a clean slate. Yet there is also fear. Fear of the land unknown, and the danger untold. There is fear that, in spreading the light, we draw the ire of what lies in the shadows.
But no matter the opinions on the subject, there is one thing that may be said for certain.
