Patron: The Grey Lady
Status: Learning. Improving. Grieving. Fighting.

Spell Points: 2 [1 + 1]

Passive & Sustained Effects

]Providence[
The blessed’s soul is warded by their faith in their Divine. If something tries to possess them, or they’re targeted by an effect that is functionally identical to possession, the blessed may roll a d6 save to resist it. If they roll their tier or lower on the d6, the possession fails and has no effect. They are additionally fully immune to any attempts to lay claim to their soul (in terms of it being trapped, imprisoned, or otherwise by some entity. This is not expected to come up much in RP, but exists for flavor). For curses or afflictions like Vyrism or Spiritblessed, they may resist it outright or optionally roll a possession save against it.

] RESILIENCE [
Allies within 5 blocks gain one step of advantage on saves against the effects of poison, disease, and other toxins.

]A[ A purple glow appears in areas of the body in times of heightened emotion, adrenaline, or during spell casting. This can be the eyes, the veins of the body, or the hands/fingertips.
———
]Q[ A glance over a grave or tomb will provide them with a sense of if the remains are still within or not, at a range of six feet.

~: ... The Hunt ... :~

Describe the most prominent relevant deed they've done since their last rank up. This can be a hosted event, a significant achievement, or similar spectacle, but it should tend towards acts that demonstrate their faith to others.

In a group of many others, investigated ruined, scorched towns. While doing this, she happened upon the footprints of a colossal, demonic creature. Despite her initial hesitation, she along with the group tracked the prints to their source—a four-eyed, titanic demon, ravaging a different town. The group acted swiftly to dispatch it, managing to slay it.

Three notable acts in line with their Divine (Hunting, Healing, Bartering, etc) separate to the event(s) above.

One offering of an item to their Divine at a shrine/church/etc (Log its OOC location for collection.)

The corpse of a Vymbat, slain by arrow and dragged out of the fields of Storm's Landing, left around the Cathedral shrine of the Huntress. [Propless.]

Traveled Northwards with a small group, intent on combating the efforts of the cultists of the Ivory King. With this group, she took part in stopping an opening of a rift in the far North.
Later, Hysope and Laicelem worked together to assemble a pyre for the fallen cultists and victims of the cultists, as the harsh weather did not permit a burial.

Laicelem separated the fallen victims and fallen cultists, a demonstration of judgement that stuck with Hysope.

A somewhat coarse, but warm woolen cloak, woven by Hysope in preparation for a trek northwards. It is stark white, like snow. While it was one of a few accessories that she wore, it was what was dragged through the harsh cold of the north on her trip to stop the Ivory Cultists. It surely must remember the chill?
Perhaps the Grey Lady could use it. After all, it is rather cold in her domain of winter.
She offered it to the shrine in the Storm's Landing Graveyard. [5118, 980]

In the event Healing and You, treated Deacon's bruise injury by use of supplies provided by Valtae and Granny.

Stumbling Faithful
"Souls of The River, Bones of the Earth."

Joined in the Blooding, a ritual hunt, with the purpose of divination and reducing the effects brought on by the ascension of magic. Eventually aided in taking down 8-10 feral hogs that were led by some sort of demonic hog-man.

Had the Exalt of Jishrim agree to aid in the effort to tear down the Skraagite effigies across the land, by sending information of their whereabouts to the followers of the Grey Lady. (Perhaps it's best not to mention the demonic possession?)

On the day that the sky tore above the Landing, toppled two obelisks with a small group of people. She scoured the area around the landing along with a few others in a persistent measure to make certain that none stood anymore. You could say that her efforts were unwavering.
It also may be worth mentioning in relation to Theodra's tenants (namely the 7th/last one) that she was the first one of the initial group to start tying the obelisk with rope.

In an effort to hone her skills, took on a task along with four others to hunt and capture one of the creatures in the caves under Ycarnifalallan that had been attacking the workers.

Knelt beside the corpses of three deceased fanatics in the Kraken's Den Inn, in silent prayer for their souls to pass on into the river, and for their bodies to return to the soil.

In the Storm's Landing one night, encountered the shouts of a man somewhat scratched up. She wasted no time in quite literally this time grabbing her bow, and tracking the threat to its source--that threat being a trio of Vymbats. Later, she assisted Grey after offering to help in the preparation of the body of someone who had died just a couple of hours earlier due to injuries from Vymbats, by digging a grave at an unoccupied spot in the graveyard.

In a chat with the mage Frost, was asked something by her. Essentially, the request was that if they found themselves allies at some point, that Hysope not let her sister, Hellmann, raise her [Frost] into undeath.
She readily agreed to this, giving her word.

Sought lessons from Raelur in the way of the Grey Lady, to which he agreed. [6/29]

Grudge: The Ivory King.

7/11 A lesson covering vyres, demons, and the bound spirits of the world.
7/14 An impromptu explanation given to Hysope as she helped him treat his burns, of the structures of divinity, tiers of angels of the Grey Lady, and miscellaneous beings relating to her. Not quite a "proper" or full-length lesson, but notable nonetheless.

Hysope found herself compelled to light candles for the fallen at Stormhall. It was an early morning as she found her way into the garden. She takes great care in preparing each candle and setting it alight. The movement of her hands almost seems as if it is not her own. As she began to light the last candle, she feels an uncharacteristically chilly breeze waft through the plantlife as they begin to lightly frost over. The candles slowly begin to shift in hue to that of purple flame. A sense of approval and firm feeling of power is felt as she tends to the shrine.

Hysope has risen to T1.
