Yeah I know it says that but things got changed around a little because people were busy with school and work so it got changed to a month long.

For some reason it said you quoted my post there....

You must've quoted me and edited, right?

Just posted a poem on the Post Poems Please thread, but I figured it would fit here as well (not a great writer :p)

I once was a happy lad
who never went amiss
until some very sad
event transpired and it is this:

One afternoon
I met a lass
and for her I swoon
but she dismissed me, her heart as hard as brass

And suddenly,
out of the bush,
came a creature most ugly,
and threatened to make us mush

And before me stood the creature most volatile,
I was indeed appalled,
in my mouth came some bile
and I swallowed very hard.

And whatever happens, I say,
I raise my sword to this:
Whatever happens to me today
her future will be bliss.

And I charged it,
but it hit me with one fell blow,
my body quit,
and my soul went in the flow.

Shrimpsy, don't call your self a bad writer. That was very good! Better then the stuff I write(Writers mentality hate everything you ever write).

In the same mind set. I love almost all of the unfinished stories I write, but I hate all my poems. Even when people say they are good.

I did this in school while we were watching a movie, poke this later for a drawing >.>

In the sea, a near-unknown isle
far away, from the Nile
the waters have a hue
of a shallow, gentle blue.

The peaks of the mountains are old,
and there, in the fold,
the valleys are green
and tumbling down comes a stream.

There are also the woods that seem to haunt,
the creatures in there taunt
their unwary prey
and then slowly go away.

And there are the crags of rock
many paths there they block
and yet this dry expanse is rife
for a whole new variety of life.

And in the sea, a near-unknown isle
far away, from the Nile
the waters have a hue
of a shallow, gentle blue.
