Having serious trouble! I can figure out how to make a part of the image transparent on MS paint and move it around and stuff, but I have no idea how to save it as its own transparent image. Can anyone help me?

Save as PNG (or gif I guess) instead of JPG.

Still doesn't work! Turns out, it was already saved as .png but it still has the white background! ​

Though.. I could be wrong, but the last I checked, MS Paint couldn't do transparent backgrounds. It just does a white square instead of the transparent bit.

Aye now that I think about it Niek I believe is right. It can temporarily do transparency for cropping and such but I think it auto generates a white background. You'll have to use another program I think. There are a few online but I'm not sure of their quality.

If you want something simple for it. I'd say try to use GIMP 2, for it. Remember, when you save, hit the export button, rather than save.
