There was also Queen Alexantria of the Elves, who I think accepted the Elven Crown more or less solely to keep Leorthor out of the running because he was one crazy shoe with a lot of scary plans. Before either, I believe the Elven King was Tantara Saeradan. Certainly, Saeradan were the most influential Elven House for a very long time, though I think there was an eventual merger with Arduin.

I'd also say Lord Christopher of Silverwatch (not like, silver-crowny anything, just a town called Silverwatch in the first world which was the precursor to House Silverian today). The player was more active in 2011, but I caught the tail-end of his existence. Not exactly your stuff-of-legends warrior type, but this guy was a goddamn treasure trove of history, and perhaps the first serious scholarly character Altera ever saw. He even did the whole hermit-in-his-own-castle thing in the end.
