Nope.
7. Name one of our current Mentors.
Niko
8. Tell us about yourself!
Heya- I am a recently graduated animation student, it seems there’s no jobs available so I became a bookseller instead.
I love my job which includes re-finding my love for writing.
I have some game design knowledge and a love for gaming in general.
Mostly RPG’s. Like Dragon Age or Skyrim and some DnD.
Anything I can lore build on.
Been awhile since I started up the ole Minecraft.
9. Do you have any examples of your work?
I’d love to show my work-But I’m horrifically private on the internet.
10. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?
Me and my friend, Lava_Laura, were chillin around trying to find a new server. I stumbled upon this one looking for a fantasy based server.
The word lore got me hooked.
About Your Character!
Character Name:
Seda Vitigis
Character Age:
18
Character Race:
Human
Appearance:
Seda is fair-skinned. Pale. She has striking blue eyes and nearly platinum blonde hair.
The hair is shoulder length and the left side is shaved. Seda normally wears fur-based clothing and prefers a colder climate. Her boots and gloves are wrapped in leather binding. In addition she wears a cape of greyish-white fur, reminicient of the wintery coats of the animals in her climate. She has a marking of her family ancestry engraved in blue on her right shoulder blade.
(Optional) Picture of the Skin:
Written Test!
She hated ships. She hated the sea.
She stared out at the ocean, the waves making her nauseous and surely an odd tone of green to passerbys. Seda was a land-dweller like her father and mother and the forefathers before her. She was birthed in a very isolated village; in a mountainous region. Her people weren't made for this. They were people of snow and they worshipped the beasts that Nature provided. They prided themselves in honouring the resources of the land. Every animal struck down must be used and must have a function. Function. They we’re a people of function.
Now they must leave the North, her home- all of them collected and stuffed together on a ship. Women, children and fathers cried to their divines. But no answer came. The Old Gods we’re nothing but whispers now. They can only hope the ancestors follow them into the unknown- even if the burials grounds were left behind.
Seda was quite happy with her life as a child. Her father taught her to work the land, to make her clothes alongside her mother, but she was never good at that. She enjoyed the simplicity of life. Seda never questioned her roll in the grander scheme. There was no need to-
- until she came of age and wanted more.
Her hero’s journey with no quest but her freedom.
When she was a girl she had watched her father defend from unwanted intruders and was intrigued despite her detest for murder. He taught her small, sometimes meaningless, sword techniques. Purely for defense, he had told her. A people of function. It served no purpose to kill for fun.
They did not have much when she announced her will to leave them and all she inherited was a rusty, unbalanced excuse for a sword. It was her only treasure. No skill but the basic way of survival and her reliance on her forefathers ways. She wants to set off to nowhere and everywhere. Seda wants to find herself.
Dry skin, frightened children and what hope could they have?
Seda hated the ocean, none of her ancestors sailed and none of them endured this salty air. The salty air dried her skin, chapped her lips. The weather was always changing, she missed home and the consistency. She missed the infernal cold that threatened death each night.
When did they arrive she wondered as she turned to gaze upon the approaching land.
Anxious. Afraid. She hated change.
Always conflicted within herself. She wants freedom but it must be connected with her sense of routine and rules. Chaos was not a friend. She wanted more, but sometimes she got stuck in comfortable normalcy. Who was she? What is she?
She didn't know and at this point the only thing that excited her-
Was finding out.
Current Setting of the Server:
As the last galleys pull into port from the Northern Kingdoms, so too do they mark the end of the Exodus. A dark and desperate chapter in Altera's history.
The undead swarms had battered us, and the Sea of Storms had bruised us, yet here we were, alive. Alive in a brave new frontier to the east, and the flickering embers of our dying lands were now kindling the fires of new civilization, in a land of opportunity, vast and boundless.
Now, for the first time in a long time, there is hope. Hope of a new chapter, a new beginning and a clean slate. Yet there is also fear. Fear of the land unknown, and the danger untold. There is fear that, in spreading the light, we draw the ire of what lies in the shadows. In this new land, it even seems as if demons and the explainable come out to play.
But no matter the opinions on the subject, there is one thing that may be said for certain.
