This morning, the gossip-mongers in the slums whisper amongst themselves of blood spilt outside the Landing's bakery; of the pastry-maker's screams of agony. Rumor has it, a knight wearing a dress went berserk and attacked her.

Although, on a still stranger note, some say they caught a glimpse of the aftermath-- but the baker's Elvish, not Caparii, so why would she have horns...?​

Rumour is heard from some occupants of the Landing slums that glass was heard breaking and figures seen lurking in the brothel there at an hour that they shouldn't. Upon inspection, it seems a window or two are broken, many glasses have been smashed inside, and even the beer kegs have gotten axed.

It's sparse enough, perhaps one or two people every few weeks. They always recover, unable to recall much due to heavy drinking.

Also heard within parts of the Noble's district of Storm's Landing, similar signs are shown amongst those who frequent there. It is primarily noticed amongst those who have patronized the new hidden establishment, the Frayed Veil. Some have expressed disinterest in going again after their night spent there out of unease for their drained emotions, yet find themselves going back after a matter of days or a week - forgetting all about their concerns as if they had never happened - and the cycle continues. Something seems to be luring some patrons back, and it doesn't seem to be just the obvious.

A man carrying an oversized bag of jeweler's guides and uncut gemstones was chased from Verdant Valley to Evenfall, where he was stopped by the guards joined by Keone and Kam. Despite claims that the books 'spoke to him', sadly they were returned to their owner.

A clean water station would be set up, aswell word given to avoid the effected area for now.

Some in the area report to return home apathetic, as if void of their emotions.

Alongside the strumming chords of the familiar lute, those closer to the graveyard would pick up the whistling melody that blurred with the winds.

Nurses can be seen from the Eldpoint Hospital spending the day testing water from wells throughout the city, while guards keep an eye on all incoming caravans for sources of plague, cloth coverings being adopted by the guardsmen and women for their hands and face, to avoid the spread of infection found in the Landing and now Candlewood. Their efforts extend to the settlements surrounding Eldpoint the next day.​

Those who have passed by the White Willow in the last few days may have noted with alarm some Screaming in the wake of a flurry of activity where several peoples were brought in form the north for medical attention. One was escorted to the Guardhouse afterward by a dark haired Northern man, and the other two never left the Hospital. A man in armor was seen often in and about the lower floors by nurses and visitors alike as the Hospital owner tried to keep things operating as the illness in the town takes it's toll.

It has since gone quiet, With one of the two people kept in the hospital was released and Nurse Joie is sent to the Guardhouse with a note​

In the wake of the dark news of the spreading plauges, something good would be heard.

Word would go that the beast hunting the forest’s of the Landing had stopped.
After a few days, a few foragers and hunterd would stumble onto the fell corpse of a Garulf.
With noone to do so, they would claim the glory for killing…
The Beast of Gévaudan.​

In Astrakhan, around a hundred soldiers return with the corpses of around eighty or so of their comrades, all nestled in the wooden confines of ox-wagons. These men- according to reports- were victims of an ambush in the north by the vexsome raiders.
As they process through the town, each family of the deceased are given their relative(s) signaculum or dog-tag. The bodies are then taken to the Great Temple of Astrakhan to be tended to by priests of the Grey Lady so that the affected families may bury or burn them as befits the will of the dead men.

All throughout the city, a rising, steady hum shakes the city like an earthquake, the mourning chant of soldiers grieving the loss of their brothers and sisters in arms.
Many tearful citizens ask; when will these barbarians cease their abhorrent violence? When will they finally have slaked their thirst for blood?
