[!] Exodus [!]

Several dwarf clans have moved south to escape internal conflict in the far north. Settling now in the midlands, they remain hard at work against both the undead hoards of Cor Votum, and also the impending march of winter.

Rumors come pouring out of Patina that the wife of Branko Callas, Haefer, was taken by the rebels of the Bloodied Knot, though some note that it was surprisingly peaceable.

Thick, black plumes of smoke cover the surrounding area as the village's fields and their addictive crops are burned to ashes.
The village's supply of food and armaments were seized and anyone found resisting was unceremoniously executed.

A long column of men-at-arms and peasants are seen moving out of Patina, their next target unknown.

A Sangarian woman with a blue Macaw was seen leading some men. They were less violent than suspected giving away some toys and some cows near Eldpoint and further up north. Some less fortunate dwarven clans joined the woman.

Witness from Gra'kanat claim that their leader, Vowrawn Natri'zima, was seen being escorted away by the Exalt of the Grey Lady after a violent interaction.
He has not left word, nor has he returned for the next few days.
The city is now left for his loyalists to defend, awaiting his return.

Rumor begins to carry throughout the slums of Storm's Landing of peasants disappearing from the streets.
All men, all gone without a trace. Only one disappears at a time, and there are days between each going missing.

As the neighboring Empire of Cor Votum descends into seemingly eternal warfare and rebellion, an order goes out to the governors of Astrakhan, Cydonia, and the Commander of Sungrad to welcome all refugees fleeing into the Asrakosian Dominion.

Despite a war-weary populace, the Dominion maintains vigilance over its borders as members of the Akritai, Viglai, (Border Guard & City Watch, respectively) and the Legion can be seen guarding all inns, caravanserais, roads and rivers under its control.

Undead are cajoled back in to the Empire if they are found in Asrakosian borders and brigands or deserters taking advantage of the chaos are hanged or crucified.
Any soldiers on either side of the conflict are directed back to their territories or through Dominion land to their intended destination.
These escorts, however, take belligerents* on long, meandering routes with frequent stops made at border forts or checkpoints to sign paperwork, check their supply carts, and interview officers.

While many legionary officers act like this is business as usual, it's clear that this is an attempt by the Dominion to discourage future war-parties (and thusly the war & all its violence itself) from coming to their lands.

Only occasional bouts of violence have broken out, sometimes foreign troops become impatient or turn into brigands and attack legionary outposts or patrols. These scuffles are brief, and end in either a crackdown by elite legionary units or in the outpost being destroyed and looted. If any battles take place on Dominion land, it is carefully observed and its outcomes recorded by legion scouts, who lurk just out of sight. While no Asrakosian troops have been seen taking a side in any battles, wounded soldiers and disaffected camp followers belonging to either side are provided care at the end of these battles.

Overall however, travellers report that the roads and waterways are still safe for business, perhaps doubly so compared to the past.
Merchants from the Grand Collegium, local guides, porters, innkeepers, and mercenaries all welcome civilians unable to pass through the blockade or merchants needing new partners.
These efforts, combined with the general hospitality of Asrakosians to travellers (except apparently to passing armies) have seen an influx of wealth, immigration, and cultural trade to Astrakhan and Cydonia.

*So anyone fighting for the Empire, Linlea, Rangers, Bloodied Knot, or the Ashstadt. Idk, RP a few weeks delay in between reaching places if you want

Spoiler for a pirate campaign I might be hosting in a few months.

The Golden Coast and those in the hills saw the docks at the coast getting bigger. As the road was able to now connect to the main one into the Ashland's. It is around time before they start sailing. The ruler of the coast has definitely been putting in the work.

Word would spread in the Landing about the increased rate of extortion and rise of criminal business.
Bypassers would often report violence on the streets, and roaming thugs.
Some say, that confrontations even escalate to death.
A city is being carved into turfs...

In the following days, many residing in Ashstadt, Eastwatch, and even among those in Blackrush or Thorne would tell of peculiar lanterns flying through the night sky.
Lone ones, or smaller groups of them, persisting for a couple of days before they are gone...

An excessive about of hastily written posters in basic paper with charcoal appear across the Landing over the spawn of a day and night. Sometimes the writing is on walls or the floor in charcoal directly, as if they ran out of paper at some point. The notices are invasive in how many there are, but they all say exactly the same thing and it appears to be some kind of strange advertisement. The woman seen writing and placing them is a Moor Elven woman with white hair, violet eyes, and dark clothing (sometimes a hooded cloak).

The notice is as follows;

dwardun.png

And currently can be found all over, including places like the library, post office, cathedral, tavern, multiple shops and businesses, town hall, court house, bank, and the graveyard doors....

Word on the street spreads quickly of a demon prowling the Landing's slums.
Tall, her skin a vibrant blue, she supposedly seems to not have a care in the world about being seen.
Those who encounter her whisper of change and justice for the slums.

(Tes is searching for people in the slums! She seems to be planning something. If you have an interest, feel free to message me on discord!)
