The next morning sheds to light to the grizzly scene unfolded within the tavern. A bear, seemingly crazed by Jishrim himself, stampeded through the Kraken's Culling, leaving a slurry of blackened body fluids wherever it went. Its frenzied warpath was brought to a halt by the blades of well-armed tavern-goers, drowning the famed tavern in foul smelling ichor.
The bear was removed from the tavern after the incident.

Maddened and battered travelers from Compendium rave over how the fabric of nature is upending itself. They decry of an army of blackbirds descending on the citizens of the city in brazen fury; their sheer numbers blotting out the sky. Whether these rumors are to be believed or not, something is afoot within the natural order of things.

Trade routes to the South-via-Burglarshire have been reported to come in later than expected. When asked about their delay they all seem to corraborate the same points in their story. A halfling and hearty construction. Perhaps its something to check on, at some point.

The bath house of sanardu flairs to life the heat and steam of the baths are laced with pleasant smelling incense that laces the air, music fills the rooms as those practiced in massage ease the pains of joints. Bath salts fill the water with soothing and relaxing feeling easing joints in thier healing embrace, as a new owner takes up the mantle of running the place behind closed doors.

Compendium seems to have fallen prey to an absolutely horrendous mice infestation. And not just Compendium, but many of the settlements surrounding Storm's Landing and Mockingbay are undergoing it as well. And birds seem to have experienced a strange shift in their migration patterns, lingering around places and pigeons aren't the only birds not afraid of people anymore.

A large palisade seems to be blocking the view of Astrakhan's interior and guards are beginning to patrol the ramparts more and more frequently. It appears the residents are becoming more and more on edge. Rumors circulate about the Basileos wanting hardened mercenaries or volunteers for the garrison to help crush the Serpent Cult Insurrection.

A shrine has been completely desecrated in Sanardu. Animal blood has been smeared onto the quartz flooring and walls.

Perhaps a few of the stray cats have been fighting again or perhaps something more ... sinister ...

Rumors coming out of the Compendium say that the city's resolve is beginning to chip away. The physicians grow weary with constant supervision and treatment for the patients, and researchers sleep little as they pour over notes and reports. The guards and soldiers shrug off their wounds as soon as the Formists can find the time to stitch them.

As more infected gather, so do the incursions.

Travellers to Storm's Landing may notice a lot more birds in the skies and on the rooftops, rats in the streets, and an air of unease. The slums are experiencing a lot more violence than usual, and it is generally suggested to avoid the area and not venture there.

Smoke billows in ominously magnificent plumes above the slums of Storm's Landing while the peasant bodies lie strewn across the road just in front of the gate in their failed attempt for freedom. Through the agonized screams of the burned, the stabbed, and the otherwise unfortunate, one would be further to note the cause of this fire was cold arson. Tis truly a brutal scene for all who witness.

Slyannen seems to have gone threw a change only a bare amoutn of work crews of the city have been left behind in light of the world crisis keeping trade flowing smoothly and without issue. The rest of a large group of of archetects and workers were seen near padure before vanishing into the mountains beyond the forest.

With the end of days seemingly upon us, it would be easy to overlook the absence of the stocky, dwarven Smoke's Trail bartender. Perhaps management is looking for a younger, supple maiden to run the show this time.

Deep in the broken south, on the road south of cape crow that links aelemer and the rest of the empire, travels who camp just off the road at the foot of the mountains tell tales that up in the sky two dark lights shine upwards towards the heavens and noone knows why.

Following the events that Linlea has been plundged in, many refugees flock to Astrum, swarming the dock gates. The guards try in vain to check as many refugees as possible but this task is near impossible. With the sheer number of impatient refugees growing, temporary tents are set up upon the Astrum docks, with a crude barricade constructed to protect their flank. However some unhappy refugees start to protest, demanding entry into the already overcrowded city. The hostility between the Astrum guards and the refugees grows and rumour states that a terrible brawl erupted between a patrolling guard and a refugee, resulting in the guard being beaten within an inch of his life before his colleages could rescue him. With many guards now refusing to patrol or assist the growingly hostile refugees, tension swells, and a keen observer might hear a racking cough and bloodshot eyes spreading through the campground.

In the broken South the City of Slyannen has gone quiet to the wider world as the city of Linlea cuts of trade with the city itself its ships no longer traveling far south to the city. The Imperial ships turned away, as the cities grain and food, as well as other luxury items sit idle in the docks rotting away, those that travel near the city see smoke trails rising from the city. And those trying to entere are turned away as the gates are locked, few lucky people venture out of the city itself and tell tales of quarantines and relief centers as the disease runs wild in the city itself.

Rumours and reports spread across the continent along their usual channels. Perhaps travelling slower given the state of the continent's infrastructure.

These rumours suggest that various Temples and Shrines to Ignis Synnove in the region once held by Artois have been torn down and their valuables plundered by the orders of one Francis de Courtnay. Great multitudes of Gold, Marble and Quartz have been swiftly transported to Le Havre to be stored away and used elsewhere.

How heretical.
