1. What is your Minecraft username?
My Minecraft username is catsbi.
2. How old are you?
I am 18 years old.
3. What country are you from?
I am from America.
4. Have you read the King's Law, Code of Conducts, Official Lore, and the Player Guides yet?
Yes, I have read them.
5. In your own words, how would you define metagaming and powergaming?
I would define metagaming as an action which uses external factors to affect said game, altering it to unrealistic means, and powergaming as aiming to outdo everyone else in skill levels with no consideration to any possible storyline or roleplay.
6. Do we allow X-Raying mods or X-Ray texture packs on the server?
No, of course not.
7. Name one of our current Mentors.
One Mentor is named Charybdis.
8. Tell us about yourself!
I love anything related to the arts. I love all music forms, and I perform in a chamber orchestra on viola. I’ve been an artist since I was young, and a writer even younger. I surround myself with wonderful people. I’m very much an ambivert, and proud of it.
9. Do you have any examples of your work?
Not at the moment!
10. Did anyone refer you? If not, how did you find our server?
I referred myself, I suppose. I was searching for a new roleplay server and stumbled upon this one a few months back, I got whitelisted, and then I went inactive. But I've returned again, for hopefully longer this time around. I also invited my friends.
Character Name:
Viessa Eira Heartris
Character Age:
22 years old
Character Race:
Silver Elf
Appearance:
Viessa isn’t the tallest of her kind, as she’s 5’7” with a very slender, yet curvaceous build. She looks rather frail, her bones slightly visible beneath her fair skin. Viessa is doe-eyed, with beautiful silver eyes and curled shoulder-length dark brown hair. She often wears long and flowing dresses, typically in white and pastels, varying in color. Viessa occasionally wears a headdress to cover her skin more modestly, as all other female Silver Elves do. Her cheekbones are prominent, and jawline soft, yet chiseled. Her nose is upturned, and her eyebrows are sharp.
Written Test:
Wandering stares met us as we walked into the room. We wore matching, elegant gold masks, Kailu’s covering half of his face with a black theme to it, mine decorated with white designs, only to cover my eyes. Unfamiliar faces of all colors turned to greet and watch us as we strode, arm in arm down the way, and into the dancing hall. The masquerade was for the prestigious, and no one less. Along the way, light whispers of envy and shock emanated from the mouths of those around us. We found our place amongst the crowd, and danced together to the soft piano.
“Did father seem worried to you?” Kailu asked, whispering to me.
“Perhaps a little,” I replied by his ear, glancing around the room, “do you know why?”
“I do not. He seems to be getting worse than before.”
I nod slightly, and that ends our conversation. We never had to speak great lengths to each other, it was almost as if we shared the same thoughts. I rested my head on his shoulder, my gaze averted to our father, dressed in all black, a stern look across his features. I frowned a little. We hated it when he was in a poor mood. I shut my eyes, letting him guide me about the multicolored tile floor, trusting him with my movements.
Not a few minutes later did our father approach us, knocking me from my trance, and muttering to Kailu. He turned on his heel, walking briskly away from us, and I look up to my brother in question. He watches him leave, and then his stare meets mine.
“We need to go. He’s ordered us out, there’s an escort outside.” He states, his eyebrows furrowing, and his expression darkening.
“Go where? What are we running from?” I ask, but he doesn’t reply.
We nearly just got out of the door when glass shatters, and screams echo behind us. Chaos breaks out, people pushing past us, some falling, and others screaming. Kailu grips my arm tightly, pushing me forward ahead of him. In simply a moment, our lives had changed forever.
Past the walls, odd creatures caught my eye. They looked to be deformed and misshapen. People were running from them, most unable to. Birds swarmed around, abnormally nose diving at the people who attempted to get away. Those who were unable to lied unmoving, but it seemed that weren’t quite yet. This would later be known as the beginning of the Blight. We sprinted for the forestry, but the monsters were faster than us. The man escorting us tripped, his foot caught under an uprooted tree. Too close behind him, one of the creatures closed the distance. His scream pierced our ears, but we dared not look back.
