I dunno, personality wise Discord wins it for me but the Celestia and Luna story is so much deeper and post Nightmare Moon Luna has a lot of (harnessed more by the fandom than the actual show sadly) potential as a serious character. For example Luna in Snowdrop (if you haven't seen that it's definitely worth watching).

After seeing this thread I watched an episode of the show, it is a great show and it made me smile (Except for the bit when fluttershy went over assertive)
