I think the shroom peeps are okay. You have to remember that 1.9 will have mushroom biomes so you will need someone to live there and they do have a good back story which can help explain them. AND thier profiles were accepted.

Mushroom people with mushrooms biomes and houses, etc i can understand. I would like them to create profiles however so i can approve them. Pokemon? giant chickens? panda bears? ...
