They say it'll be the next Learning Center, whatever that means!​

Some traders speak of an unusual place for a masquerade, with shipments of stone and great fabrics to boot. There is even whisper of construction, but they say there's no helping the ruins in their sorry state.

Lana has done it again.

She has re-written the entirety of the Metaphysics II: Magical Energy again.
This time called Magical Essentia, to help differ it from previous versions.

Its.. almost 100 pages long and contains everything you would want to know about magic.

Requires Conquest to read as it extends pages. It stayed up to 5am to finish writing this. I am very proud.
You know the lore is good when you spend 100 pages writing about one subject.​

After several hours, a young man dressed in a simple white smock is kicked out, with the doors slamming shut behind him.
He makes his way on foot to the capital, whistling and dancing as he goes.​

The sounds of choking and retching were heard from the tavern today. They say a demon got sick from the strange weather that has been effecting Storm's Landing of late.

Some say although it seems too strange for it to be known for sure- that he gave birth to a tree made of flesh!

There is word out of a magical treasure that's worth an entire town.
Owned by some important and powerful noble family, nobody dares to even think about stealing a half radiant of it.
But then again, nobody knows where to go looking for it either!

The treasure is known to be well guarded and worth a king's ransom...

The power of the nobles and what they're rumored to have done to the last servant who only eyed the treasure makes most folks think twice...

[SL random event]

Yesterday, Storm's Landing's noble district was attacked by a group of undead wolves and an undead creature made up of cow, horse, human, and some snake-like tail that might've been part Arachian Bat, sewn up together to create a grotesque giant. Luckily, some Alteran heroes were having a night out in the local tavern and were able to stop the creatures from doing any more damage than they had already done, though the heroes could not prevent the library from being ruined beyond repair by the abominable monster!

After a heroic fight, the creatures were slain, but not before they caused the death of a banker and two citizens. On top of that, the giant monster heavily bruised eight people, two of which lost some of their weapons in the fight, one of which lost their ear, while another was nearly strangled to death and yet two others nearly squashed to death. One of the heroes suffered a horrible infection from the bite of an undead wolf, but the day was saved!​

Rumor has it that a figure garbed in thick leathers, masked in an eerily lifelike porcelain face covering was at the Cathedral late at night. What was left behind was a small shrine that those of Visage can worship. Bits of smaller rubble were cleared, and the area was made a little more accessible.​

Rumor has it a Fortune Teller nearly fainted from fright in the Landing last night, after a series of unfortunate events.​

Strange things have been seen in the snows outside Halbed. Figures in the trees, dead birds and other small animals, and sledge tracks that become more noticeable the farther out of town you get.

The strange tree has grown horrifyingly quickly! They say it has yellow eyes, a mouth, and flesh instead of bark! How strange!

Many prisoners were seen escorted to the guard house soon afterwords to await trial, however there were many who would not see the guard house either, many had perished in the battle.​

Folks are losing items left and right. Some occurrences are violent, while others are silent and invisible.
The point is; Henry's wallet has passed through more hands in a week than a Radiant usually does in a month.
Whatever is causing this surge in criminal activity and whoever they are is unknown, but there are rumors...

A report of a crime is forward to the guardhouse of Storm's Landing that a home by the farms has been robbed of coin (roughly 2,500) and a set of golden goblets taken. A pregnant woman with brown hair was seen but did not stop to answer their questions. They probably gossip about it later if others want to know.
