5) Introduce yourself!
My name is Cole and I live in the Bay Area. I am a huge fan of Dota 2. That game is amazing but also very stressful as the community is toxic. I have played on a lot of minecraft servers before modded and vanilla. Outside of gaming I like to play soccer with friends. I am a not a very out going person but love making new friends with people that are also shy. I am currently not in school as I am taking a break year before going to college. I want to become a heart surgeon because they make bank and because I have always enjoyed helping people.
6) Got any examples of your work?
Not really. I helped build a bit of Cutthroat Cove before I left the server due to school. I can build decent medieval houses but my interior decorating skills are not very good. I was going to be the head builder of the earthspawn city that King Oguk was planning on founding but couldn't due to lack of time. Left about when the first version of the great hall was nearing completion and when the blacksmith was about to be finished. (Mainly remembered this because of conversation logs.)
7) Did you explore our world prior to your application?
I have not explored much of the world as it is now, but am familiar with the way it was a year and a half ago.

The test
I wake with a raging headache, one that comes from trying to drown your problems. I get up slowly and search around for my pouch of coins. Not finding it I settle with the few coins I have in my pockets. I go outside and breathe in the Spring air. Feeling a sudden surge of confidence I rush over to my traveling companion, Fredrick's tent only to see it is empty. His tent is mostly empty except for a cup of alcohol left over from last night. Not thinking much of his absence I start packing up both of our tents and find a note fall out of his. I pick it up and see the writing on it is sloppy as usual.
The note says "Demix, the innkeeper has asked me to guard his inn as the local townsfolk seem to think he is not paying them enough for the food he buys. The townsfolk are riled up and they do not seem far away from torching his inn. I tried asking the innkeeper if he thought he would need more protection as I may not be enough to fight off a whole village. He did mention however that the stable master might have a job for you, and considering how well you get along with horse you could make some cash and maybe even get that horse you were eyeing at the last fair. Would you mind dropping my luggage off at the inn as it seems I am going to be staying at the inn for a while?" Crumpling the note up I slip my bag onto my back and pick up his tent with my left hand and begin the trek to the inn.
It is midday when I arrive at the Gremlin and Fox and drop off Fredrick's belongings with the innkeeper. He tells me Fredrick is busy escorting the last shipment of dwarven beer from the harbor. Seeing as he will not be back for a while I decide to head over to the stables to see about the job Fredrick had wrote about. As I see the fields behind the stable I expect to smell horse manure but to my surprise the air smells just as clean as it did in the forest. In the middle of the fields is a grey haired man grooming the horses. He spots me as I near the gate to the pasture. "Hey boy!" He calls.
I open the gate and walk towards him while saying "It has been a while since anyone has called me a boy."
He continues grooming the horse until I am on the other side of the horse. He tells me " I have need of a messenger to ride to Port Silver, a large town north of here where my son lives as a guard. I am not getting younger and this stable along with the horses is my inheritance to him and he better collect it before do." He smiles and gets an amused look in his eye before continuing on " He might even be so grateful to you for delivering the message that he might just sell you one of the horses or even the whole stable for a discount as he has little interest in owning a stable."
That is how I came to be riding to Port Silver on the back of a borrowed horse with just a bit of coin in my pocket.
