I'm Elle or Ria. 24yrs old, transfem, bi, lil bit of a lunatic. I write/read sci-fi and like possums. Done a lot of staff work on smaller servers over the years. Ran a sci-fi MC RP community for a while.
Never was able to get myself all that established on HW the few times I tried playing, but I've been around.
Tend to play a schizophrenic anthro-possum woman, 'cause that's what I enjoy. Y'all don't have accessible beastfolk like that, though, so I'll give a human a whirl again I suppose.
Below is a character format for a new character. I played a joke character back in 2018, a poorly written mess in 2013, and...I tried playing a Nakam right before I think they were getting kinda...phased out, in 2013 as well.

A relatively traditional sort, despite a non-traditional upbringing, hailing from a long-standing family of proud Kaltics. Born Kallo Schreiber, the son of a shipwright and a scribe, he struggled against expectation to continue his father's trade and was unable to muster the strength to perform well in the Kaltic militias due to being brought up during a momentary famine. Working more and more under his mother, plying the trade of scribing, he came to embrace androgyny and, eventually, after leaving for the mainland, assumed feminity slowly but surely--changing her name to Aivot Schreiber to reflect this.
Beyond the absurdity of their identity, Aivot's intent in life was simple--to live and to learn. Despite her initial disdain for "barbarism" as she put it, she eventually learned to work into her strengths (and the lack thereof) to defend herself and eventually earn her way--wearing her many scars from time spent working as a caravan guard through the Northern Kingdom with frustration that, slowly but surely, bloomed into pride. Aivot learned to respect the Kaltic traditions and camaraderie, tempering martial refinement with academic discovery.
She worked on a more formal basis with her mother and, with time, took on various apprenticeships in academics and mercantile. In the present day, she seeks work in all manner of academic fields--seeking the means to make her name in the world.
