I don't see why you can't RP it out between yourselves, I know a few people did RP across the continent Rygan Mitch Arken - Might be able to offer thoughts on how they went about it. Process of making you multiple camps and porting you each day seems tedious at best, when I'm sure you can do this alone. Perhaps some people can help and play 'encounters' for you on the way?
