Reason for applying: 'Eh, I want to make something of my character and I think this would be wonderful, also.. I know what the Rangers are like.
RP: Amire, although coming from a high family, loves to be down key and to travel or go freely. Although she lacks the skills with a bow, she makes up for it in her skill with hiding, and often loves to climb trees.

Updated with a tidbit of info about our political allegiances. Basically- Saeradan are buddies and we help them out, but we're still in charge of ourself. Woo!

RP religious beliefs: Believes in Theodra and prays to her before he goes hunting. But has a belief in the equality of all (Tribal background) so see's Rahas as important
Reason for applying: It makes sense for my character he was part of a group when he hunted in his tribe and has a longing for a group. As well as loving the forest and wanting to protect it.

A friendly guide to meta-free locating:
It's fairly common knowledge that Ced, Dayter, Nylas and Mairin are in the Rangers. Your character may also know that Akela is involved, as well as Abel. Everyone else is unknown. It will also be out there that most of the Rangers live in Tauredal.

No idea if you guys are currently recruiting or not, but here goes nothin'.
In-Game name: Somnastra
Roleplay name: Somnastra Elenthalion
House: none (yet?)
RP religious beliefs: Adheres to Shalherana and **Theodra, technically, but is uncomfortable in temples and awkward during organized services.
Reason for applying:
RP:
She essentially spent a long time running from her heritage. Now that she's ready to stop running, she wants to embrace her mother's people (finally), but on her own terms. The Rangers seem to be an avenue to accomplish this.
OOC:
Because having a group to belong to made it easier last time to get acclimated... And I've heard you guys are awesome. I've also been pointed in this direction by several people.

Anything extra you’d like to add: I'm not really sure if it would make RP sense for Som to join *immediately,* but it really is the direction I'd like her to go. If nothing else, I'd like to RP with folks. So there.

Reason for applying: Cos' I am rather intested in this organisation but I never had the chars to fit in, now Thannis fits in rather well
RP: Thannis... coming from a rather downbeat background has always look towards the freedom makers for hope and support, Thannis isn't the most avid of Theodra worshippers but his respect for the wild is paramount

Roleplay name: Drachen Dormus, though officially Drachen has drifted from his family and devoted himself to other things, and has simply donned the name: "Drachen".
House: None.
RP religious beliefs: Has no trouble believing in every god, albeit is a ... fanatic when it comes to Theodra, as of recent.
Reason for applying: Drachen has recently taken up, in his own time, the capture of illegal hunters and is aware of the Guild, so he wishes to become associated. OOCly, you lot seem great, and Drachen needs something to do.
RP: Drachen comes from an extremely rich family, though from an early age, he has disregarded that. In his childhood, Drachen always showed a love for the outdoors, spending some days and some nights outside of the castle firing shortbows towards trees, and scaling them afterwards. Later in life, Drachen, regretfully, turned to pirate-ism briefly, but decided this was just a phase and went on, afterwards picking up his natural instinct once more and practicing with his bow for many hours on end. Recently, Drachen become a fanatic devotee to Theodra, and has taken up vigilante-ism in the wilds, protecting the animals from poachers and such.

We have also changed the structure and system of a recruit training process. While this doesn't requires textual updates to the thread, it's going to make a difference in-game.
