Anyone in Britain, where we use GMT, is in BST. The clocks went forward so we switch timezones so GMT is mostly redundant right now.
Edit: Event didn't change, it's still at 8pm BST which is GMT but an hour ahead because of Daylight savings
Double Edit: This happens every year

GMT is not used solely in Britain; you can't simply say that GMT has changed because BST is not GMT.

BST is GMT +1 because of daylight savings, but not all nations use daylight savings; therefore...


I'm just making things more confusing, aren't I?

- The clock here right now is 6:24
- 7+1 means the event is at 8 in my time zone.
- 8 - 6:24 = 1 hour and 36 minutes?
