Bad news guys, the program I use for writing these is acting up, and has deleted half of what I had written. I'll have some of it up in a few minutes (hopefully) but it wont be the full thing most likely.

Right, well, after looking over what I had written at 1 in the morning, I have decided it was crap.

Part 4
When Ryan went downstairs the next morning, he found Olivia wating there for him, once again dressed in her emerald-green dress.
“Have you been waiting long?”, asked Ryan apologetically
“Not too long”, answered Olivia, smiling slightly,”Shall we go then?”
“Go where?”, Ryan said, confused.
“To the Lower Council of course”, said Olivia laughingly,” They will need to speak with you to find out how much you remember and to figure out what to do with you.”
“Alright then”, Ryan said with a smile, “Lead the way.”
As they left the Inn, he saw the Innkeepers son glaring at him from the alleyway. He continued on after Olivia, who had gone on ahead, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. He watched the movement of her hips for a few seconds as she walked. She turned around to speak to him and he quickly raised his eyes to meet hers.
“The most important thing to remember when dealing with the council”, began Olivia,”Is to remember that you are not in any kind of trouble, they just want to know what happened to you, and why you where naked outside the gates of the City. With the turbulence between the Maelentians and us, the Council is wary of anyone who turns up unexpectedly.”
They passed through one of the Cities gates up into the Second District, and entered into the largest building in the area. It was made from intricately detailed carved stone and marble. She escorted him into a large room, at the end of which was a Large table with seven figures seated at it.
“Milords, this is the man that I found at the city gates the other night”,Olivia started,”He was lying on the ground bereft of any clothes, and there was nothing around him to suggest a robbery.”
“Very good Captain, thank you for contribution.”, said the left-most figure at the table,”And now you, what is your name?”
“Ryan sir”, said Ryan, swallowing back his fear.
“Well then, Ryan, what brings you to our great city of Astral?”
“T-to be honest, sir, I don't rightly know. I have no memory of any events before the good captain found me on the grass.”
“Is that so?”, inquired another seated figure, picking up a sheat of paper off the table infront of him, “In the Healer's report on your condition, he said there where only superficial scratches and bruises on your body, and that your mind was in peak condition.”
“Really sir?”, Asked Ryan, with a confused frown.
“Yes, really”
“Well.... I'm not too sure what to say Sir, I don't know what to make of that. I really cannot remember a single thing about my life before that night. Like whether I was living here or not, do I have any friends or relatives nearby”
He glanced at Olivia, “Or any loved ones that might be worried about me.”
“Hmm, how strange”, said a third member of the Council.
“What will be done with me, mi'lords?”, askedd Ryan with a worried look at the armed guards surrounding the hall.
“And your sure he had nothing with him when you found him?”, asked the second Councilman of Olivia.
“Yes, there was nothing else”, said Olivia, shaking her head slightly when I looked over at her.
“Well, then I suppose that there isn't anything we can do. You have already been given temporary lodgings, so you should be alright for the time being. Tell me, how would you like a job in the City Guard?”
Ryan looked at the coucilman who had spoken in suprise. He had long, Iron gray hair that came down past his shoulders. His eyes where the same colour as Olivia's, and there where quite a few other similarities between them. He was wearing dark-red clothes that where covered by a royal-blue stole.
“W-well, sir, I think that it would be an honour to serve in the Guard for the City.”
“That is good then. Olivia, will you let him join your garrison?”
“Yes, Father.”
Ryan looked at Olivia in shock, but she didn't meet his gaze. He turned back around to face the council.
“My daughter will take care of your current job-less state. However, if you are joining the Guard, you must be prepared to work hard, and earn your pay. Anyone who is not doing a good enough job can be fired immediately. So do as you are told, and do not cause trouble. You may go.”
Olivia and I bowed and took our leave from the Hall. I remained silent until we where out of the building.
“Father?!”, I asked her, my voice raising in suprise.
“Yes, that was my Father, Third in command in the Lower Council.”, said Olivia, not meeting my eyes.
“What's wrong Olivia?”, I asked her gently.
“Nothing”, she said dismissally, “So, you've to take my orders now?”
She grinned wickedly, “This will be fun. Welcome to the City Guard, Soldier.”
