SPOILER ALERT: The main bad guy in the game is going to be this Forerunner artificial intelligence unit known as the Didact. In the trailers for Halo 4 (the early ones, without the wub-wub) at the end, you heard a voice speaking, which seemed to be opposing you, and then a symbol appeared on screen. That symbol is the symbol of the Didact.
