Oho. Right, the vanilla horse armor is a throwback to oblivion, and is plate-y.So no metal armour for horses since it's just been invented for humans?
That might, in fact, be a vanilla thing we might restrict.

Without mass production then I assume you will be bringing in restrictions on literacy too?Mass-production of books is not something within the server vision. That's the job of scribes.
Was considering both making Literacy in a language a separate thing to fluency, as well as have anything more than basic literacy require practice/training.Without mass production then I assume you will be bringing in restrictions on literacy too?
I'm interested in why this is significant or even important. What difference does mass-production of books make in the RP element of the game?Basically, the temporal cutoff we're using is:
Just after invention of plate armor, just before invention of printing press.

Anything up to pre-industrial revolution would still be low-tech.It makes things lower-magic/tech, and makes it more likely that certain books would be 'rare' from a game perspective, thus allowing us to have both moderate and very rare books that have very few copies.
(I also really don't care enough on the point of horsey armor to argue either way.)1440 is an approximation.
You still can not have hand cannons. You may not have balloons for travel, you may not have a printing press.
Though I see no issue with Horse armor.
No reason to go all Medieval on someone for wanting a little fantasy.
Nothing wrong with Fantasy, Don't be silly.
Altera is not same as Earth but its Fantasy, non-existed, like dream world.
So.... You know Grief is come from Earth, How do she end up in planet Altera? Did she uses spaceship to escape from Earth? lol
